Gina M. Wasserman

Gina's practice is devoted to civil matters, primarily probate and estate litigation, estate and trust administration, and general litigation. Gina has significant trial experience stemming from her years of courtroom practice. She began her legal career concentrating her practice in misdemeanor and felony criminal law, personal injury, juvenile and domestic relations law. Her diversity of practice and courtroom experience allows Gina to bring a broad yet unique perspective to handling contested matters to the benefit of our valued clients. Gina graduated from the University of Toledo in 1997 with a Bachelor of Science and continued to the University of Toledo, College of Law, where she received her Juris Doctorate in 2001. Gina serves as an Acting Judge in the Oregon Municipal Court, where she presides over criminal and general civil matters. She receives ongoing training in municipal law from the Ohio Supreme Court Judicial College, which provides education and certification for Ohio judges, acting judges, and magistrates. Gina is admitted to practice before all State Courts of the State of Ohio and the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Ohio. Gina is a member of the Ohio State Bar Association and the Toledo Bar Association. Personal: Gina is married to Clint Wasserman. Clint is also an attorney employed by the Lucas County Prosecutor's Office in the criminal division. Gina enjoys travel, cooking, and spending time with her family. Gina and Clint reside in Oregon, Ohio, with their son Jude.

John Lewandowski

John is licensed to practice law in Ohio and the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Ohio and the Eastern District of Michigan. John has argued cases in front of United States District Court Judges, Ohio Appellate Courts, and the Ohio Supreme Court.

Jon Balcerzak

Jon's practice is primarily focused on probate, estate planning, real estate, and general business matters. He has extensive trial experience due to his time working as a public defender. He is a member of the Toledo Bar Association and the Ohio State Bar Association. Jon is from Toledo, Ohio. He is a graduate of the University of Toledo College of Law. He received his undergraduate degree from Ohio University. Prior to working at HML, he was in private practice with Maloney, McHugh & Kolodgy Ltd. and worked part time as a public defender through the Toledo Legal Aid Society where he handled both felony and misdemeanor cases. When Jon is not working he resides in Toledo where he enjoys golfing, agonizing over the Detroit Tigers and hanging with friends and family. Kent Murphree

Kent is a resident of the City of Rossford, Ohio. He has three sons, Jackson, Reed, and Garette. Having been raised by a life-long basketball coach, Kent has an intense passion for the game of basketball. He spends his free time coaching his kids' teams and volunteering as a varsity assistant basketball coach at Rossford High School. In 2016 Kent was elected to the Rossford School Board and remains a member of the Board today. Kent focuses his practice in the areas of general civil litigation, probate, and estate litigation, labor and employment law, and construction law. He is licensed to practice in the States of Ohio and Michigan and is also admitted to practice in the United States District Court, Northern District of Ohio, Eastern District of Michigan.

Mary lives in Maumee with her husband, Dave. PERSONAL Mary attended high school in Vermilion, Ohio, and moved to the Toledo area in 1994 when she married her husband, Dave. They currently spend their time traveling, cheering for Cleveland sports teams, and volunteering for Project iAm and the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. Following graduation, he worked at a local school district for several years before joining the legal profession in 2017. In 2018, he earned a post-baccalaureate certificate in Paralegal Studies from the University of Toledo. Troy was raised in Elmore, Ohio, and graduated from Woodmore High School before attending the University of Toledo. Troy has a passion for athletics and began his coaching career as a volunteer assistant basketball coach in 2011. Since then, he has coached athletes in both boys and girls basketball, cross-country, football, and track. Troy lives in Perrysburg with his wife, Marisa, and enjoys spending time with his dogs Chloe and Carter, watching Michigan athletics, and beating John Lewandowski on the golf course.
