RESCOPE IT

As a freelancer at Sampension, I was part of a team developing a self-service app for pension customers. The team had the luxury of a blank slate leting us do things the right way from the outset. Very loosely coupled design with a focus on testing and CI/CD using GitHub and Azure DevOps... As part of the backend team, my role consisted of validating requirements with subject matter experts, designing solutions and their architectural integration with the legacy systems on which we depended, implementing them in collaboration with the frontend team, and testing them with dedicated testers... Being responsible for two core services of great importance to both customers andthe business, stability and performance was a priority right from the start. With proper asynchronicity and scheduling, I decoupled the performance and stability of key flows from that of the legacy services on which we depended resulting in very high stability and performance.
