Together with our supporters, members and volunteers, we work to protect marine life across the coast of the North West and wider Irish Sea... The work of our Living Seas North West programme is guided by a Steering Group made up of representatives from the North West Wildlife Trusts including our marine officers, marketing and communications teams, and conservation managers. Other vital members include a Living Seas Champion and Living Seas Ambassador - a conservation officer and Trustee from each Trust - that act to steer us and promote our work within each organisation and beyond... With the invaluable help of our supporters, volunteers and members we campaign for the designation and management of a network of Marine Protected Areas throughout the Irish Sea and the conservation of the wider marine environment. We work with other organisations to raise the profile of marine life in the Irish Sea, and inspire local communities to care for their coasts and seas.
