I am currently working as a Machine Learning Engineer at Belgian scale-up, LynxCare, working on models for clinical natural language processing. Before, I was a research scientist at Nuance Automotive (now Cerence) and a postdoctoral researcher of IDLab's Text-to-Knowledge Group. My research focused on techniques to train and deploy neural network based natural language processing in low-resource settings. I have worked on projects and done research involving sequence-to-sequence models, clinical natural language processing, keyphrase extraction and knowledge base population.
