Rosario Cammarota

Rosario Cammarota ("Ro") is a Principal Engineer at Intel Labs. He leads Privacy Technologies Research and Standards, with a focus on cryptographic and systems security technologies. He led the technology development of the Intel Open Source Software Intel nGraph-HE, to allow seamless development and deployment of machine learning models on hybrid homomorphic encryption/two-party computation backends. He leads the standardization effort of fully homomorphic encryption at ISO/ IEC JTC1 SC27. He authored over 70 US patents in applied cryptography and security protocols adopted in security standards and products, e.g., WiFi EasyConnect, IEEE 802.11i. He is a Senior Member of IEEE.

Tarun Soni

Tarun Soni, Ph.D. is a Fellow at Northrop Grumman Corporation. He currently serves as the Chief Engineer for the Communications Business Unit at Northrop Grumman Corporation. He provides leadership for technical solutions across many domains ranging from tactical platform solutions, nuclear command and control and battlefield gateways. He is also involved in corporate wide initiatives developing strategy in communications and networking. Previously, he has led several business groups, pursuits and initiatives across the corporation, primarily in avionics and networking focusing on software defined radio and network solutions for next generation platforms. Prior to joining Northrop Grumman, he worked at several commercial and defense companies including startups. He started his career at the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) applying passive vision solutions to self-driving systems. Soni is also affiliated with the Technological Leadership Institute at the University of Minnesota. Within the Management of Technology program at the University of Minnesota he teaches leadership, innovation, technology strategy and new market discovery. His experience base also includes teaching in the Department of Computer Science at the University of California, San Diego. Soni is the author of more than 30 publications. He has a doctorate degree from the University of California, San Diego, and an MBA from the University of California, Los Angeles. His current research interests stray towards understanding complex systems.
