Barry Quinn

Barry is a former army officer and a retired oil company general manager. He has worked across Europe for 27 years and has experience running a large international organisation. He lives in Portugal and Monkstown and joined the board in March 2021 to make a contribution to the local community.

Cathal O'Neill - Secretary

  • Associate Director in the M & a Team at EY
Cathal is an Associate Director in the M&A team at EY. He has nearly 10 years experience advising large corporations through business transformation and transactions. He is a qualified accountant and has a Business Degree from the University of Limerick. Cathal joined MYP in March 2021. He has recently returned back to Dublin from Canada, and is looking forward to playing a part in the local community and getting back to seeing the Irish rugby team in action.

Clare Shine

Clare is a graduate of UL and Michael Smurfit Business School, UCD. She worked in Financial Services prior to joining the team at My Project. She has extensive experience of business, finance, governance, strategic planning and office management. Clare is responsible for office administration, reporting and finance.

Eoin Mc Nulty

Eoin Mc Nulty is a Project Worker that supports young people and parents. Eoin's previous experience is in the area of social care and youth work, mainly working with at risk/ vulnerable youth in Dublin City. Eoin is currently studying Humanistic Integrative Psychotherapy, and seeing adult clients in this capacity. Eoin has a vested interest in supporting young people and has a particular interest in using fun and creative therapeutic approaches. With MYP Eoin facilitates a number of these therapeutic intervention programs including: Working Things Out, Theraplay, Real U, Adolescent Community Reinforcement Approach, Odyssey- Parenting Your Teen, Mindfulness in Schools .B Program. Hobbies and interests: In my free time I enjoy outdoor adventure sports like rock climbing and kayaking. I also enjoy Art and Meditation and use these as ways to keep me healthy and happy. I like to share the things I found that are good for me and offer them to the young people I work with.

Jacky Flavin-Tehan - Chairman

Jacky is a qualified chartered accountant having trained at KPMG. She is an experienced finance professional with extensive and varied knowledge spanning audit and accounting, banking, property finance, investment management, tax planning, governance and compliance. After building a strong foundation in auditing and accounting at KPMG, Jacky moved to Bank of Ireland where she held the role of Senior Manager in the corporate banking division of Bank of Ireland before becoming the Finance Director of Woodford Capital Management DAC, a Family Office in Dublin managing investments in Renewable Energy, Hotels, Commercial Property, Liquid Assets and various new ventures. Jacky served as director on a number of Boards during her time at Woodford Capital. In her spare time Jacky enjoys spending time with her family, tennis and walking with friends. Jacky joined the board of MYP in March 2021.

Jane O'Doherty

Jane is a qualified Marte Meo Therapist and has a keen interest in working with parents to build skills and relationships to support their children. Jane has many years experience working as a Social Care Worker with children, young people and their families, in residential care, aftercare and family support. An MA in Women, Gender and Society from UCD's School of Social Justice and PG Certificate in Adult Education frame Jane's interest in the transformative power of education and she has taught at all levels from basic literacy, through to Higher Education, in a variety of settings. Jane uses Theraplay, Peep, Roots of Empathy and Circle of Security in enhancing parent child interaction. Jane supports parents and uses NVR, SPACE and Life Coaching modalities to enhance their skills and achieve positive outcomes.

Jessica Kelly

Jessica holds an Honours Degree in Social Care Practice from TU Dublin and is a member of social care Ireland. She has 10+ years experience working in the area of social care and community services, family support, addiction services and supporting families who experience domestic violence and abuse. She has completed community addiction studies with Urrus and an advanced certificate in advice and advocacy in addition to the NVR parenting process. Jessica uses her training in aCRA, motivational interviewing, Narrative 4, Meitheal, Theraplay, TLC Kidz and Real U, to effectively support families at MyP. Jessica is committed to continual development of professional practice and has most recently taken up a new learning opportunity with IICP in (HDip Sc) Integrative Psychotherapeutic Studies.

Leslie O'Hora

Leslie has been involved with Voluntary sector in Ireland and Italy since his teenage years. Notably Les Glenans, GEA Ire, Association Joint Milan, ACOA St Patrick's. A Marketing Graduate, he has held a number of Director positions primarily in the Healthcare sector. Most recently he held a Development Director role in Atlantic Youth Trust.

Marie Sheridan

Marie Sheridan is a project worker at MYP. Marie has over 11 years' experience working therapeutically with children and families in the community. Marie has a degree in social studies and is currently in the second year of her clinical training in Somatic experiencing which works with unresolved trauma held within the body and is aimed at treating trauma and stressor related disorders such as PTSD, anxiety and many more. Alongside Marie's clinical training she is studying Somatic attachment therapy. Marie is passionate about body-oriented therapy, specialising in the mind and body connection. Marie is also an Accredited Practitioner Coach with the International Authority for Professional Coaching and Mentors (IAPC&M). Marie delivers the First Friends mother and baby community group and is trained in PEEP Learning together parent and baby program, PEEP Antenatal parent and baby groups, REAL You, BodyRight, TLC Kidz and the NVR Parenting program.

Nuala McKenna

Nuala has a degree in Social Care from Carlow IT and has worked for over 20 years in a wide variety of roles including Early years, Addiction Services, Homeless Services, Disability Services and Youth Residential Care. She is a Servant Leader trained practitioner a member of Social Care Ireland and is a strong advocate for ongoing professional development through training and life long learning. Nuala believes in social justice, human rights and animal welfare. She has a passionate in art and creativity which she uses to support engagement and connection with children, young people, parents, families and groups. Nuala took up the role of Project Manager of MYP in September 2022.
