In addition to Austin's leasing experience, he also represents lending institutions and investment funds in the origination, restructuring and modification of mortgage loans for acquisition, construction and refinance of real estate.

Carolyn S. Nachmias

Carolyn S. Nachmias is a shareholder and founding member of Nachmias Morris & Alt LLC. Carolyn has extensive experience structuring various forms of entities and transactions, counseling clients regarding tax exempt financing and serving as outside general counsel to business and nonprofit entities and individual family offices. Moreover, Carolyn counsels individuals regarding estate planning and all domestic and international income tax matters. She also advises businesses and individuals concerning tax compliance - federal, state and local. Carolyn's more than thirty years of experience includes not only private law firm practice, but also authorship of a treatise on joint ventures and teaching as a tenured professor at a local law school.

Christina G. Alt

Christina G. Alt is a shareholder and founding member of Nachmias Morris & Alt LLC. Previously, Christina gained experience as a trusts and estates attorney at two of Philadelphia's largest, major law firms. Christina concentrates her practice in the areas of estate planning, estate and trust administration, charitable planning and fiduciary representation. She develops and implements estate plans and lifetime gifting strategies for high-net worth individuals. Christina advises clients regarding family business succession planning, pre-marital agreements, and tax-efficient charitable planning techniques, including the creation of charitable trusts and private foundations. Her practice includes the administration of substantial estates, providing advice to executors regarding post-mortem tax planning, and overseeing the preparation of federal and state death tax returns and fiduciary income tax returns. Christina also represents a number of charitable trusts and private foundations, and provides ongoing counsel to the directors and trustees regarding tax and compliance issues.

Jennifer C. Apell

Jennifer Apell joins the firm with a background in several areas of law, including estate planning and administration, estate litigation, guardianships, business planning and operations, real estate, and commercial litigation. She began her career clerking for the Honorable Ronald E. Bookbinder. Jennifer focuses her practice on estate planning and administration, for simple and complex estates, as well as guardianships and business planning. She has considerable experience in drafting wills, trusts, powers of attorney, living wills, guardianship applications, corporate governance documents and pre-nuptial agreements. Due to her exceptional skills and background, the Superior Court frequently appoints her as a guardian-ad-litem and court-appointed attorney for incapacitated persons. She has been awarded the honor of Top Attorney for Mediation by SJ Magazine. She chaired the Complementary Dispute Resolution/Alternative Dispute Resolution Committee for the Burlington County Bar Association for many years. Further, she has lectured at various seminars for the Burlington County Bar Association as well as several Inns of Court. Mark T. Carlidge is a shareholder of Nachmias Morris & Alt LLC. and the senior member of the firm's Trusts and Estates practice. Mark's practice covers all aspects of estate planning and administration, counseling individuals, married couples and multi-generational families in matters relating to estates and trusts ranging from billions of dollars to more modest amounts. Mark works closely with his clients' advisors to meet each client's goals and to develop and implement seamless and comprehensive estate and financial plans. He advises clients in the areas of wealth transfer, business succession, pre-marital agreements, asset protection and charitable giving. Mark also assists his clients to understand, negotiate and resolve complicated income, gift, estate and generation-skipping transfer tax issues. Mark regularly counsels individual and corporate fiduciaries, and beneficiaries. He represents them in court proceedings and in resolving issues without court involvement through nonjudicial and family agreements. Mark also advises clients with respect to the creation and operation of tax-exempt organizations.

Robert J. Haurin

Robert J. Haurin is an attorney with Nachmias, Morris & Alt LLC. Bob represents employers and management in all aspects of the employment relationship, including advising, representing, and defending employers of all sizes operating in public and private sectors and in union and non-union work environments. Bob defends organizations in cases alleging discrimination, harassment, retaliation, disability, leaves of absence, wage and hour, wrongful termination, discipline, and hiring as well as enforcement of restrictive covenants and non-disclosure agreements and other employment-related claims. In addition, Bob provides counseling and compliance advice to clients on the myriad of employment issues facing employers including leaves of absence, wage and hour matters, drug testing, and employee discipline issues. His labor practice includes negotiating collective bargaining agreements, advising management on labor-management relations, and representing clients before administrative agencies, labor boards and in grievance and interest arbitrations.
