Polar Vision Centres LTD operates two optical outlets: Polar Vision, our retail location in Yellowknife and Baffin Optical, our mobile clinic in Iqaluit. Our opticians travel to the communities of Nunavut. Owner Nunasi Corporation established Polar Vision in Yellowknife in 1986 and opened Baffin Optical in Iqaluit in 1989. We have highly trained staff and work hard to ensure professional service for all our vision clients... Polar Vision Centres LTD offers an annual $2500 scholarship, established to encourage Inuit to continue with their education and pursue academic excellence. Eligible applicants must be Beneficiaries of the Nunavut Land Claims Agreement and enrolled in a recognized, accredited educational institution for the academic year. Mature adult education students may also apply.
