Amy Di Mauro has been a practicing Licensed Clinical Social Worker since 2001. Most recently, she served as the Clinical Director and Student Internship Coordinator at the Rushford Center. She completed her undergraduate degree at UCONN and is also a graduate of Springfield College School of Social Work. Ms. Di Mauro is a graduate-level professor at Quinnipiac University and is on faculty at the University of St. Joseph's School of Social Work as a preceptor, and at Boston University School of Social Work as a regional advisor.
Ms. Di Mauro is the former President of the National Association of Social Workers, CT Chapter and currently the Regional Representative for Connecticut and New York City to the NASW National Office Board of Directors. Additionally, she serves on the advisory board for Springfield College School of Social Work. Her professional experience has been in working with, designing, implementing, and administrating programs that treat people across all ages.
Besides clinical operations to ensure the highest quality of care, Ms. Di Mauro is passionate about social justice and advocacy. She has chaired Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Councils to end discrimination and the problems related to health inequity.
Ms. Di Mauro has moderated and presented on several panels and workshops at conferences in Connecticut and New York City on topics related to children and families as well as adults with substance use and/or mental health symptoms.
