RRCTMA

The RRCTMA is the local residents association for Regent, Royal, Carlton Terraces and Mews in central Edinburgh, Scotland. It has been active in the area since 1967, and was set up ‘to preserve and improve the general amenity of the Terraces, and Calton Hill, with a view to preserving the architectural attractions and residential character of the neighbourhood and its surroundings… and to generally act in all matters affecting the neighbourhood and the interests of residents'... Now, in the 21st Century, the RRCTMA help residents keep an eye on the ‘basics': the street lighting, the rubbish and recycling collection, road and traffic issues, and planning proposals. We liase with the City of Edinburgh Council and the local Community Council (NTBCC) to help where we can and to keep residents as fully informed as possible.
