Allan C. Roth - CEO

Allan C. Roth specializes in labor, employment, general education, special education, municipal and civil rights law. Mr. Roth has extensive experience in both the Federal and State Courts at the trial and appellate levels. As a New Jersey Deputy Attorney General, Mr. Roth represented the New Jersey Departments of Education, Corrections and Human Services regarding State teacher matters. While at the State, Mr. Roth had numerous trials in the areas of teacher tenure, wrongful termination, civil rights and public employment issues. In private practice, Mr. Roth was in-house counsel for the West New York Board of Education, an Abbott District, handling all aspects of corporate law, including labor negotiations, contract administration and litigation issues. Mr. Roth is now personnel and special education counsel to the Board. Mr. Roth has also been the Attorney for the Roselle Board of Education, representing the Board in all aspects of school law. In addition to his legal practice, Mr. Roth also conducts seminars on employment issues, such as the prevention of sexual harassment in the workplace, hiring, firing and discipline within the law, as well as investigating internal sexual harassment complaints, drafting personnel policy manuals, and providing other management advisory services. Denise Errico Esmerado

Denise Errico Esmerado has practiced labor and employment law in private and public sector settings since 1997. She advises management on a variety of employment related matters, litigates employment cases in federal and state court and before governmental agencies. Ms. Esmerado conducts internal investigations and workplace training and seminars. As a shareholder with Ruderman & Roth, LLC., her practice areas include advisement of management on employee leave entitlements; wage issues; employee handbooks; employment contracts; non-competition, non-disclosure and confidentiality agreements; separation agreements; employee discharge issues; employee disciplinary issues; harassment; discrimination, as well as other employment related matters. She is a frequent speaker for Lorman Education Services and author on employment law topics. Ms. Esmerado was also an adjunct professor at Farleigh Dickinson University.

Ellen M. Horn

Littie E. Rau

Littie E. Rau joined Ruderman & Roth, LLC. in 2004 where she represents predominantly management in private and public sector in all aspects of labor and employment law. She litigates discrimination and harassment cases based on race, gender, sexual harassment, age and disability, First Amendment and due process claims, whistleblower (CEPA) cases and Open Public Records Act claims in state and federal courts and in administrative forums, including the New Jersey Division on Civil Rights, the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the Civil Service Commission and Public Employment Relations Commission. She also conducts internal investigations in the workplace. Littie brought to our law firm her experience in previously representing plaintiffs in employment and civil rights cases (both in state and federal court and administrative agencies) and familiarity with general civil practice, medical malpractice, personal injury, contract disputes, unemployment claims and landlord tenant issues.

Mark A. DiPisa

Mark A. DiPisa is a graduate of Seton Hall University School of Law and one of the founding members of DiPisa & Lago, LLC. He is admitted to practice law in the State of New Jersey and the United States District Court of New Jersey. Following law school, Mr. DiPisa served as a Judicial Clerk to the Honorable Richard J. Donohue, J.S.C., in the Civil Division of the Superior Court of New Jersey in Bergen County. Prior to founding DiPisa & Lago, LLC, Mr. DiPisa was an associate at major law firms where he litigated a variety of complex civil and criminal matters on behalf of public and private clients. Known for his aggressive style, Mr. DiPisa has obtained significant results for many clients in both criminal and civil matters. He has successfully represented clients in the Superior Court of New Jersey, Federal Court and the Office of Administrative Law. He has also handled matters before the Civil Service Commission, the Public Employment Relations Commission and the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development. Mr. DiPisa has successfully defended governmental entities on a variety of legal claims including, but not limited to, discrimination, harassment, and contract disputes. He has also successfully litigated before the New Jersey Superior Court, Appellate Division. Mark S. Ruderman

In addition to his legal practice, Mark S. Ruderman, the founding and managing shareholder of Ruderman & Roth, LLC., lectures on various labor relations topics before many groups, including the New Jersey State Bar Association, New Jersey Conference of Mayors, New Jersey School Boards Association, New Jersey State League of Municipalities, New Jersey State Association of Chiefs of Police, New Jersey Municipal Management Association, and William Paterson College. From 1979 through 1983, he served as Associate Labor Relations Counsel to the New Jersey State League of Municipalities. Mr. Ruderman has also served as an adjunct professor at Rutgers University where he taught Concessionary Collective Bargaining. Moreover, Mr. Ruderman is a founding member of the Employment Law & Education Association ("ELEA"), a New Jersey corporation dedicated to the prevention of costly employment litigation.

Stephanie M. Platt

Stephanie M. Platt, Esq. has experience in local government and municipal law practice, labor and employment litigation, civil rights law, tax appeal law and general litigation. Ms. Platt has appeared in both state and federal courts, and has experience in both the public and private sector. Ms. Platt received her undergraduate degree from Connecticut College (B.A. 2006). She received her J.D. from Touro College, (J.D. 2012), and went on to receive her Master of Laws (L.L.M.) in Trial Advocacy at Temple University (2016). She is a member of the Bar of the State of New Jersey and United States District Court for the District of New Jersey, and a Member of the Bar of the State of New York and United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York.
