Dan Giddens - CFO, Chief Compliance Officer

Dan is the Chief Financial Officer and Chief Compliance Officer at Shoreline and is primarily responsible for fund administration as well as operations, compliance and LP Reporting. Prior to Joining Shoreline, he was most recently a Controller of Private Debt at Audax Group, a Boston-based private equity firm with both debt and equity strategies. Before joining Audax Group, Dan held various finance and accounting positions at AEW Capital Management and PricewaterhouseCoopers, LLP. He is a Certified Public Accountant and holds a B.S in Business Administration from Bryant University and an M.B.A from the University of Rhode Island.
Dan and his family are originally from the Northeast and moved to the Jacksonville area in 2022. He enjoys the warm weather and spending time with his wife Alana, his son Bennett, and twin daughters Delia and Fay.
Dylan is primarily responsible for evaluating and executing investment transactions, conducting due diligence and financial analysis, as well as assisting portfolio companies. Prior to joining Shoreline, Dylan was an Investment Banking Analyst at Piper Sandler in the Diversified Industrials Group where he worked with middle market companies on a variety of mergers & acquisitions advisory and capital markets transactions. Dylan graduated with a B.A. in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from Sonoma State University.
Dylan left the harsh Minneapolis winters to enjoy the warm Florida sun in the fall of 2022. As a Los Angeles native, Dylan is an avid In-N-Out consumer and a die-hard Dodger fan. In his free time, Dylan enjoys playing basketball, watching UFC, and lounging around the beach.
Ian was an instrumental part of the formation of Shoreline in 2019. He is primarily responsible for evaluating and executing investment transactions as well as managing portfolio companies. Ian brings over ten years of relevant experience including board-level responsibilities at Career Now Brands (current), Pavement Partners (current), Mr. Greens (current), Tranzonic, Global Claims Services, Painters Supply, and TSS. Prior to Shoreline, Ian was with PNC Riverarch Capital, a middle market private equity firm. Before joining PNC Riverarch, Ian was an investment banking analyst at Raymond James working on various transactions in the communication and technology-enabled services industries. Ian holds a B.S. in Business Administration, magna cum laude, from the University of Florida, a M.S. in Finance from the University of Tampa, and is a CFA charterholder.
When not at work, you'll find Ian spending time with his wife, Lauren, and two daughters, Sawyer and Parker. Ian is a Tampa native and enjoys relaxing with his family in the Florida sun and is an avid Tampa Bay sports fan.
Mac is primarily responsible for evaluating and executing investment transactions, conducting due diligence and financial analysis, as well as assisting portfolio companies. Prior to joining Shoreline, Mac was an Investment Banking Analyst at Raymond James in the Diversified Industrials Group where he worked with middle market companies on a variety of mergers & acquisitions advisory and capital markets transactions. Mac graduated with a B.S. in Engineering Science and Economics from Vanderbilt University, where he received a full-tuition merit scholarship.
Mac grew up in Miami and made the move up north to Jacksonville Beach in the summer of 2020. While Mac has been a lifelong fan of the Miami Hurricanes and Miami Heat, he is only recently calling himself a Dolphins fan because Tom Brady no longer plays in the same division. In his free time, he enjoys traveling, reading anything by Dan Levitin, and spending time with friends and family.
Mark is primarily responsible for fund administration as well as operations, compliance, and LP reporting. Prior to joining Shoreline, he was a Senior Associate at SS&C Technologies where he was responsible for fund administration with large US-based growth equity clients. Before joining SS&C Technologies, Mark was on the Product Control team at Macquarie Group where he was responsible for the preparation and analysis of daily P&L reporting for Macquarie's Energy Trading Division. Mark holds a B.S. in Finance from the University of Central Florida.
Mark grew up in Jacksonville and is an avid coffee enthusiast. In his free time, he enjoys traveling, cooking, and relaxing at the beach.

Megan is responsible for supporting all of the firm's business development efforts including marketing campaigns, call reporting accountability amongst the team, as well as targeted email outreach. Megan's professional experience includes Marketing and Events Coordinator of the Charlotte Chamber of Commerce and Account Executive for advertising agencies in both Charlotte, NC and Jacksonville, FL. Over the last decade, Megan proudly chose to take a break from her professional career to take care of her family. Shoreline has provided the perfect opportunity for Megan to get back to the professional world while maintaining her family role. Megan holds a Bachelors Degree in Communications and Marketing from Western Illinois University.
Megan and her husband, Matthew, moved to Jacksonville in 1999 and have loved raising their two kids, Brady and Ella, in the "big city, small town" vibe. They spend a good portion of their free time cheering on Brady as he plays baseball and Ella plays basketball. Megan enjoys playing tennis with friends, pilates and traveling to new places. Their family watches the Jacksonville Jaguars every Sunday and will add the Gamecocks to the list since Brady is attending University of South Carolina as of Fall 2020.

Prior to joining Shoreline, Michael was an Investment Banking Analyst at Jefferies in the Industrials Group where he worked with middle market companies on a variety of mergers & acquisitions advisory and capital markets transactions. Michael holds a B.B.A., cum laude, in Finance from The College of William & Mary.
Michael grew up in Virginia and moved to Florida in the fall of 2023. In his free time, Michael enjoys watching college basketball, rereading his favorite book, Band of Brothers, slowly improving his golf game, and relaxing on the beach.

Michael is responsible for managing the firm's business development efforts and overseeing sourcing initiatives including originating and qualifying new opportunities. Additionally, he leads the coverage of Shoreline's intermediary network across investment bankers, business brokers, lawyers, private wealth managers, accountants and commercial bankers. Prior to joining Shoreline, he was a Senior Vice President of Middle Market banking at SunTrust Bank based in Jacksonville, Florida. Before joining SunTrust, Michael spent time at both PNC Bank and Bank of America working closely with middle market companies, across a variety of banking products. Michael received a Bachelor of Science from the University of Florida.
Michael, a fourth generation Jacksonville native, was thrilled when his better half, Brooke, "saw the light" and agreed to relocate to Jacksonville to raise their two children, Evan and Edie, in Atlantic Beach. Evan and Edie are enthusiastic about everything in life with particular interests in soccer and gymnastics, respectively. Michael and Brooke enjoy riding bikes around the beach, particularly when they sneak out for the occasional date night.

Mike grew up in Atlanta and moved to Jacksonville in the fall of 2022. In his free time, he enjoys watching historical documentaries and constantly "getting back into shape" at the gym. On weekends in the fall, you can find him watching his National Champion Georgia Bulldogs and beloved Chicago Bears.

Mike co-founded Shoreline and is the Managing Partner and member of the Investment Committee. He is primarily responsible for evaluating and executing investment transactions as well as managing portfolio companies. Mike has over 20 years of M&A transaction & investment experience and has served on numerous private company boards. Prior to co-founding Shoreline, he co-founded PNC Riverarch Capital and led it through two successful funds. Prior to PNC Riverarch Capital, he worked at two other leading private equity funds, PNC Equity Partners (now Incline Equity Partners) and JF Lehman & Company. Mike started his career as an investment banker focused on M&A at Raymond James & Associates. During high school and college, he co-developed and was a Vice President at Blue Frog Global Technology & Trading, a distributor of specialty chemicals into the U.S. consumer products industry. Mike holds a B.A. in Economics from the University of Florida, where he graduated with Highest Honors and was ranked 1st in his class, and an M.B.A. from Columbia Business School where he was the David Gill Memorial Fellow and graduated with Beta Gamma Sigma Honors.
Mike, a Jacksonville native, moved backed home in 2016 with his wife, Sarah, and his four boys, Liam, Connor, Brody, and Ronan. Mike enjoys surfing and rock climbing, but spends most of his weekends chauffeuring his boys to various sporting events and is the undisputed family Ping Pong champion.

Prior to joining Shoreline, Mike was an Associate in the Investment Banking division of SunTrust Robinson Humphrey where he worked with middle market companies on a variety of mergers & acquisitions advisory and capital markets transactions. Mike holds a B.S. in Business Administration, magna cum laude, and an M.S. in Finance from the University of Florida.
Mike was born in Connecticut and moved with his family to the Jacksonville area in 2006. After spending time in Atlanta after college, he relocated back home to Jacksonville with his wife, Katie. Mike is a passionate fan of the Gators and Yankees, as well as both the Giants and Jaguars for option value. While the fall is reserved for football and postseason baseball, Mike spends the rest of the year playing golf, traveling, and enjoying time with friends and family, including his son Jack.
Peter co-founded Shoreline and is a Partner and member of the Investment Committee. He is primarily responsible for evaluating and executing investment transactions as well as managing portfolio companies. He also oversees the back-office operations of the firm and leverages his network to generate investment opportunities for Shoreline. Peter has over 30 years of transactional experience and has served on dozens of private company Boards. Prior to co-founding Shoreline, he was Co-Managing Partner of Florida Capital Partners, a middle-market private equity firm, and previously worked in leveraged finance and investment banking. Peter holds a B.S. in Economics with honors from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and an M.B.A. from the J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University, where he graduated with Beta Gamma Sigma Honors.
Peter is originally from the Northeast but moved to Florida over 25 years ago where he raised his family. He and his wife Marcy have two grown children, Samantha and Jake, and are enjoying life as empty nesters. Peter enjoys an active lifestyle and has a finer appreciation for conquering the challenges of the business world after taking up golf in recent years.
Zach was an instrumental part of the formation of Shoreline in 2019. He is primarily responsible for evaluating and executing investment transactions as well as managing portfolio companies. Zach brings over 10 years of private equity experience including board level responsibilities at Engelman's Bakery, Pool Troopers, Core Roofing, and C&S Chemicals as well as prior board level responsibilities at Mr. Greens. Prior to Shoreline, Zach was a senior associate with PNC Riverarch Capital, a middle market private equity firm. Before joining PNC Riverarch Capital, Zach was an associate with Hancock Capital Management, a private equity group operating within Manulife Financial Corporation. Zach holds a B.S. in Business Administration, magna cum laude, from Babson College, where he graduated with Beta Gamma Sigma Honors.
Outside of work, Zach enjoys golfing, cooking, and traveling to various cities and countries around the world.
