Dr. Dale C. Holly

Dr. Dale C. Holly is a dedicated physician and patient advocate who has provided outstanding patient care with a personal touch for 2 decades. A native of Arkansas, Dr. Holly witnessed firsthand the disparities in access and quality of healthcare in poor and rural communities in his home state. As a result of his vast experience, he has spent his entire career attempting to make a difference "one patient at a time". He is currently a partner physician with Atlanta Gastroenterology Associates, one of the largest gastrointestinal practices in the country. He has served on his practice's Physician Executive Committee in the past helping to establish policy and governance for the practice. His exposure to being on this committee further prepared him to acquire the complex understanding of the social, personal and business aspects that are a requisite to cultivate a progressive, successful medical practice. In 2012, Dr. Holly was recognized as one of Atlanta's 25 most influential African American physicians at the Black Health Medical Research Foundation's 4 th Annual National Black Health Awards Banquet. These awards acknowledge physicians who have made significant contributions to medicine and their communities. In 2013, Dr. Holly anchored a radio show on health and wellness that aired on one of the local satellite radio stations, which allowed him to reach and educate a broader audience. Providing "state of the art" healthcare to his patients and community service has been the cornerstone of his career. He has volunteered with Hosea Feed the Hungry, which provides meals, healthcare services, clothes and spiritual renewal to the homeless. He has also participated in numerous health fairs and has worked with numerous churches to educate its constituents on gastrointestinal health and wellness. Dr. John Whyte is a popular physician and writer who has been communicating to the public about health issues for nearly two decades. He is currently the Chief Medical Officer, WebMD. In this role, Dr. Whyte leads efforts to develop and expand strategic partnerships that create meaningful change around important and timely public health issues. Prior to WebMD, Dr. Whyte served as the Director of Professional Affairs and Stakeholder Engagement at the Center for Drugs Evaluation and Research at the U.S. Food and Drug Administration. Dr. Whyte worked with health care professionals, patients, and patient advocates, providing them with a focal point for advocacy, enhanced two-way communication, and collaboration, assisting them in navigating the FDA on issues concerning drug development, review, and drug safety. He also developed numerous initiatives to address diversity in clinical trials. Prior to this, Dr. Whyte worked for nearly a decade as the Chief Medical Expert and Vice President, Health and Medical Education at Discovery Channel, the leading non-fiction television network. In this role, Dr. Whyte developed, designed and delivered educational programming that appealed to both a medical and lay audience. This included television shows as well as online content that won over 50 awards including numerous Tellys, CINE Golden Eagle, and FREDDIES. Dr. Whyte is a board-certified internist and continues to see patients. Dr. Kevin Soden

Dr. Kevin Soden is a former emergency room physician and an award winning medical journalist for over 25 years. He has appeared on CBS, NBC and the Today Show and now serves as the TV host for Healthline and Whole Body Health. His awards include Emmys, Telly's, the 2008 CableFax award for best cable health show host, the 2008 and 2001 National Award for Excellence in Medical Reporting from the National Association of Medical Communicators. He currently serves as the worldwide Medical Director for Texas Instruments and the Cardinal Health corporations and teaches as a courtesy Professor at the Univ. of Florida College of Medicine. Kevin was also the founder and CEO of Health Care Savings -the oldest, largest, physician-owned managed care organization in the Carolinas. Kevin has authored two best-selling books - The Art of Medicine and Special Treatment. She has produced the award-winning health series, "Is there a Doctor in the House," which is shown on the Wellness Channel nationwide. Dr. Delgado serves on the Board of Health Care Services for The National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine and the Board of Governors for Argonne National Labs. She is on the Board of the Lovelace Respiratory Research Institute; Keystone Policy Center; and, the U.S. Soccer Foundation. Dr. Delgado is a leader in health policy and works to reduce the lag between scientific discovery and actionable information for people. She has written eight consumer health books; three were selected by the Library Journal for their "Best Health Book" list in the year they were published. Her latest book is, "The New No Gimmick Diet: The Buena Salud Guide to Losing Weight and Keeping It Off". She is the recipient of numerous awards. Most recently, in 2017 Latino Leaders named her to the 101 Most Influential Latinos in the U.S. and in 2015 she received the FDA's Dr. Harvey Wiley Award (highest award to a civilian). Dr. Delgado served in the Immediate Office of Secretary Margaret Heckler of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) and was a key force in the development of the "Report of the Secretary's Task Force on Black and Minority Health." Mark Grayson is currently advising small biopharmaceutical companies on healthcare education campaigns. He recently retired from PhRMA after more than 30 years. As deputy VP for public affairs, Mark helped implement strategies the industry used in the pricing discussions, access to HIV medicines and the industry image. He also implemented programs that highlighted company patient assistance programs in the U.S. and access to medicine programs around the world. Early on, Mark developed and edited the ongoing Medicines in Development series for the industry. For the last 10 years Mark led the public affairs efforts internationally on intellectual property and non-communicable diseases (NCD) issues. Mark served as the industry spokesman on many of the current issues facing the industry today. Maura Soden

Maura Soden is a long time veteran of the television industry. She is a multi-hyphenate as producer, talent and writer. She began her career as assistant to the director on Golden Girls. From there she moved into production managing for Dreamworks, Animal Planet and Wild West Media. As a writer, Soden has worked as a story producer for TRUtv and has created numerous pilots including Doctor Doctor for Dick Clark Productions. Presently she is in development at G & G Films and George Hamilton Productions. Maura has cast and produced over 400 commercials and infomercials with her focus on health and fitness projects. Although not a real doctor or nurse, she has played one on TV in Brothers & Sisters, Parenthood and Mad Men to name a few. Soden's producing skills were honored in when her short film, Rush of the Palms won Best Short in the Festival Internacional de Cinema. Her documentary, Forgotten Grave, won the Best Film in its category and she shared a NIMA award for Best Infomercial Production for Jack Nicklaus' Golden Bear Putter and a Freddy for Hilton. Soden also serves as a part time instructor-at-sea teaching USC's Digital Filmmaking Class on Crystal Cruises. Ms. Soden served as a proud member of the Television Academy, however, her greatest production is her daughter, Callahan.

Megan Strub - Chief Commercial Officer

Megan has been working in health and patient empowerment for more than 20 years. A longtime advocate of companion animals and their role in supporting human health, early in her career she worked as a dog trainer and a veterinary assistant. In the 90s she pioneered DTC advertising with publications for people with HIV and women with cancer, with pets prominently featured in the supportive role of helping people manage longterm conditions. In subsequent roles, she developed relationships within the pet industry to further explore the intrinsic value of pets in human health. Today she runs the business side of a story telling engagement platform launched as a way for people to share their personal experiences of health, both triumph and challenge. She continues to champion therapy dogs, both service and ESAs by raising awareness through The Mighty and on social media, featuring stories on therapy dogs and companion animals across all aspects of health.
