Difeson is an extremely talented Dental Hygienist who graduated from NYU College of Dentistry in 2002. In his 14 years at The Stein Dental Group, he enjoys performing routine teeth cleanings and managing soft tissue to ensure you have a healthy mouth. He appreciates the detail our office puts into each of our patient visits, which include detail patient assessment and oral cancer screenings. Difeson's most memorable moment at the office was noticing an abnormal tissue growth on a patient's tongue during an oral cancer screening. After biopsy, this growth turned out to be cancerous. It was treated successfully and the patient was very thankful for the discovery!
Outside of the office, Difeson is a father to 2 beautiful daughters and loves spending as much time as he can getting to know them at a deeper level! He has 2 parakeet birds at home as well, named Bluey and Greeney (after their colors), who double as a soothing alarm clock in the morning with their calming chirping. In his leisure time, Difeson enjoys watching his (extremely stacked) Yankees baseball team and loves taking his girls to a few games every season.
Alejandra Costantino-Finiasz, DDS is a general and cosmetic dentist who has been practicing with The Stein Dental Group for over 20 years. She is a graduate of Columbia University School of Dental and Oral Surgery and was a resident at Booth Memorial Medical Center in Queens, NY. She graduated with top honors and was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Dental Honor Society. She also received the Enrico Fermi Award for academic and clinical excellence.
Dr. Costantino continues to further her education with courses in cosmetic dentistry, veneers and implantology. She has also received certification in veneers. You can find her at band competitions, PTO meetings and around The Girl Scout Camp. She has also been involved in several community service projects throughout town, whether it be raising funds for Stamford Public Schools or collecting donations for the local food bank. She lives in Stamford with her husband, Peter, and two daughters.
Dr. David Fong has provided our office for over twenty years his expertise in root canal therapy. He earned his dental degree at Tufts University in Boston, MA and completed a post graduate program in his specialty of Endodontics at the University of CT in Farmington, CT. Dr. Fong's passion for dentistry is his desire to help patients feel calm and comfortable in the dental chair while performing the intricate procedures of endodontics. Dr. Fong utilizes our cutting edge technology during these procedures including digital radiography, ultrasonic instrumentation and 3-D imaging. Professional affiliations include American Dental Association, Connecticut State Dental Association, and American Association of Endodontists. Outside the office, he enjoys spending time with his three active children skiing, biking and hiking.
Dr. Jacob Allaeb spent his early childhood in Israel and was then raised in Queens, NY. He served in the United States Army and received his infantry training at Ft. Benning, GA. He graduated from the City University of New York Queens College in 2009 Cum Laude with majors in neuroscience, psychology and biochemistry.
Upon completion of his undergraduate studies, Dr. Allaeb matriculated that same year into New York University College of Dentistry and graduated in 2013 with his Doctor of Dental Surgery. Along with his degree, Dr. Allaeb was inducted into the Omega Chapter of the Omega Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society. During his studies at the College of Dentistry, Dr. Allaeb served on the Graduate Commission and found a special interest in Anatomy and Oral Surgery. He also was a member of a team that focused on the management of medically complex and treatment of patients with special needs.
Dr. Michael Stein is a graduate of Tufts School of Dental Medicine. I've been fortunate; not one day goes by where I don't see multiple patients that I have been treating for over 30 years. I have been blessed to practice general dentistry long enough to be treating my 3rd generation of families. When I'm not chairside or working to improve my office, I love to travel, especially adventure travel. I enjoy playing golf, tennis, and spending time with my family. My favorite sports team is the NY Yankees! My favorite procedures to perform are cosmetic procedures that can transform people's lives. The case that was most memorable to me was a patient who had been missing her lateral incisor her entire life. We restored the area with an implant which changed her smile and made her a much more confident person. She told me this one simple procedure had changed her entire outlook on life.
Dr. Michael Stein and his team at The Stein Dental Group are a passionate group of dentists protecting the smiles of numerous generations of patients. Dr. Michael Stein realized that patients demand, and deserve, not only quality dental care but it must be punctual too! Have you ever had the experience of going into your dentists' office only to be told the problem with your tooth requires a specialist to handle it? Luckily, our practice has numerous specialists all in one location! Some of these specialists include: Orthodontics with Dr. Alika Crew, Endodontics with Dr. David Fong, Periodontics with Dr. Ryan Price, and even Oral Surgery with Dr. Jacob Allaeb.
Our periodontist Ryan J. Price, DDS is a third-generation dentist. The son of a periodontist, Dr. Price graduated magna cum laude with his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Pennsylvania in 2012 and went on to receive his DDS from Columbia University College of Dental Medicine in 2016 where he received the Undergraduate Periodontics Award and the ICOI Student Award for Implant Dentistry.
Dr. Price continued at Columbia University College of Dental Medicine for his postdoctoral advanced training and was awarded a Certificate in Periodontics in 2019. Dr. Price practices full-scope periodontics and provides the highest quality care to all of his patients. He loves working at The Stein Dental Group as the entire staff and every patient is one big family.
In his free time, Dr. Price enjoys traveling, spending time with family and friends, and rooting for the Philadelphia Eagles.
A Connecticut native, Dr. Stephanie Samrin has a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Sacred Heart University in Fairfield Connecticut, a Masters degree in Biomedical Sciences from Barry University in Florida, and a DMD degree with an ADEA fellowship from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston, Massachusetts.
Dr. Samrin has also completed a general practice residency at Berkshire Medical Center in Pittsfield, Massachusetts where she worked and treated a wide range of patients from various age groups.
Being the first dentist in her family, she believes each patient should be able to smile confidently. Dr. Samrin grew up as a first generation Syrian American and became fluent in Arabic. In her free time you can catch Dr. Samrin exploring new cities, traveling and spending time with her family and friends.
Steve Wechsler, DMD is passionate about his specialty and bringing back his patients' smiles. Dr. Wechsler has over two decades of experience and extensive continuing education in endodontic (root canal) treatment.
A graduate of the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine, he uses twenty-first century anesthetic techniques and the most modern materials to offer his patients the most advanced, state-of-the-art care with a focus on patient comfort and attention to detail.

Edfred Contrerras, RDH "Eddie", is a very friendly, energetic, and bi-lingual hygienist. Being the newest addition to The Stein Dental Group, he loves to explore and implement new ideas. Eddie graduated Fones School of Dental Hygiene in 2018. Eddie makes it his duty to keep patients aware of their oral health and educate them to the best of his ability. He is known for his gentle touch, calming chairside manner, and thorough cleanings.
When not here, you can find him spending time with his friends and family. Eddie loves traveling and learning about different cultures.
JoAnne is one of our practice's staples. She has been with us for over 18 years, after graduating from Quinnipiac University in 2003. JoAnne has held nearly every position possible at The Stein Dental Group outside of being a dentist and currently acts as our Practice Administrator making sure the engine keeps moving forward!
As the administrator, she has been able to significantly grow and expand our patient base by providing excellence in service for most of her adult life. Her favorite part of the practice is our very unique ability to provide exceptional dentistry to EVERYONE. She is also fantastic at working with our patients to make your budget go as far as possible, without compromising on the quality of service you receive.
JoAnne is also an avid baseball fan, as many Americans are! She comes from a very divided house, supporting the Yankees while her husband represents the Mets. In the odd-hours where she's not at the office, JoAnne spends all of her time with her family. Whether it involves cheerleading competitions with the SHS Black Knights, taking a drive with her husband, or splurging on a trip to Disney with her 5 kids, she makes sure to spend downtime with those she loves. As the kids grow up and begin moving out, her house is currently being ran by 2 remaining kids and 2 adorable bulldogs - Heisenberg and Gustavo!

Stephanie graduated from the School of Dental Hygiene at the University of Bridgeport in 2001, and she's worked with our practice since that time. Stephanie lives in New Preston, but still visits her home in Brooklyn, New York, where she helps her family with her 95-year-old grandfather. She helps put a smile on his stern face from time to time, if she gets lucky! She enjoys spending the sparse free time she has at the beach, playing with her cats, games, and enjoying her friends and family

Tiffany has had the pleasure of taking care of patients at The Stein Dental Group for more than 19 years! She came to our practice after graduating from the University of Bridgeport and has been a vital part of our hygiene team ever since. She loves many aspects of her profession. Tiffany most enjoys interacting with each of her patients and instructing them in ways to improve their oral health.
Tiffany also does much more than just hygiene work! In her free time, she is an avid Lebron James and Lakers fan, enjoys long bike rides with her children, and loves to show off behind a piano from time to time. She also enjoys cooking special Vietnamese dishes and spending time with her tiny 4-year-old dog, Hachi, who is really good at rolling over and jumping high!
