Abdelhakim Aizel is a Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner. Earned his Master of Science in nursing at Columbia University.
Adara Mifsud, PA-C is a board-certified Physician Assistant licensed in New York State, specializing in medical and cosmetic dermatology. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Sciences with a Bioethics Minor from Fordham University in the Bronx. Post-graduation, she gained valuable hands-on dermatological experience as a Mohs Surgical Assistant for a Long Island practice. She then went on to complete her Masters degree in Physician Assistant Studies at St. John's University's rigorous program. While in PA school, Adara gained advanced healthcare training in her clinical rotations throughout the NYC boroughs and Long Island area.
Being a part of The Dermatology Specialists, Adara Mifsud completed months of training in the TDS fellowship program under the guidance and supervision of Dr. Choudhury and many of the other highly experienced TDS providers. She is an active member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants, as well as the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants, after completing the SDPA Diplomate Fellowship Program.
Adara is very passionate about providing individualized and quality care for all her patients. Her comprehensive and detail-oriented approach is reflected with every patient encounter. She is notable for her warm and friendly personality that allows her patients to always feel welcome and comfortable every time they are seen.
On her days off, Adara enjoys spending time with her friends and family back home on Long Island, go to Yankee games, and try all the amazing food NYC has to offer.

Aidan Russo is a board-certified Physician Assistant specializing in dermatology. He completed his undergraduate degree at the University of Maryland, College Park in biological sciences and earned his Master's in Physician Assistant studies from the Pace University - Lenox Hill Hospital PA program. He is an active member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants.
Aidan is currently undergoing extensive training with several of The Dermatology Specialists' talented providers while also completing the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants Diplomate Fellowship program. He is dedicated to providing high quality, individualized medical care. Aidan is most passionate about giving comprehensive patient education and keeping up to date with the latest advancements in the field of dermatology. He strives to provide both effective treatment and a comfortable, collaborative visit for his patients at each appointment.
In his free time, Aidan enjoys listening to music, hiking, meeting new people, and searching for the best slice of pizza NYC has to offer.

Aleksandra Aronova is a board-certified Physician Assistant specializing in dermatology. She completed the rigorous physician assistant program at St. John's University College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences in 2014. After graduation, Aleksandra joined the fast-paced Mount Sinai Health System where she gained extensive medical knowledge which helps guide her practice.
Aleksandra Aronova completed the training program at The Dermatology Specialists, where she gained firsthand experience in medical and cosmetic dermatology alongside Dr. Choudhury and other top New York City dermatologists. Additionally, she is an active member of the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants and the American Academy of Physician Assistants.
Aleksandra takes great pride in providing her patients with individualized care and attention. Aleksandra's diligence and dedication has allowed her to continuously expand her medical knowledge and commitment to the dermatology community. When not in the office, she can be found chasing her toddlers. Aleksandra speaks fluent Russian.

Alexandra (Alex) Enzor Gregory is a board-certified physician assistant. Alex graduated from Duke University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and a minor in Sociology. After completing her undergraduate degree, Alex worked as a dermatology medical assistant while applying to PA school. Alex earned her master's degree in Physician Assistant Studies from The University of North Texas Health Science Center. After graduation, Alex moved to Los Angeles, CA where she worked as a physician assistant in family/hospital medicine.
Alex Enzor Gregory is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants. She completed the rigorous TDS training program under the supervision of Dr. Choudhury and is currently in the process of completing SDPA's diplomate fellowship program.
In her free time, Alex enjoys spending time outdoors, traveling, and trying new restaurants. Alex is looking forward to building a patient base here in New York!
Alisha Basnet is a board-certified dermatology Physician Assistant at The Dermatology Specialists. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the University of New Mexico and then obtained her Master's degree in Physician Assistant Studies at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia, PA. She is an active member of the Society of Dermatology PAs and the American Academy of PAs.
During her time in PA school, Alisha completed her clinical training in dermatology specializing in an individualized approach to address various skin concerns. Currently, she is undergoing extensive training with various TDS providers and actively participating in the Society of Dermatology PA Diplomate fellowship program. A passionate advocate for dermatological care, Alisha is committed to delivering a patient care experience that is both approachable and friendly.
Alisha is also fluent in Nepali and Hindi. In her leisure moments, she cherishes quality time with her family, explores new destinations through travel, and enjoys experimenting with different cuisines.

Amber Bosch is a Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner, specializing in dermatology. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from Neumann University and earned her Master of Science degree in Nursing from Widener University, where she graduated with honors. She is accredited through the American Association of Nurse Practitioners.
Amber developed a love for dermatology during her almost decade long career as a nurse. She strongly believes in preventative care and enjoys helping others look and feel their best through medical and cosmetic dermatology. Her emphasis on patient centered care allow individuals to feel confident they are receiving the highest quality care tailored to their needs.
During her free time, Amber enjoys spending time with her husband, two sons, and dog. She also has a passion for DIY projects and decorating.

Angela Hyo Kim is a board certified Family Nurse Practitioner specializing in medical and cosmetic dermatology. She received her Bachelor's degree from St John's University and earned her Master's degree from Columbia University.
Before joining The Dermatology Specialists, she worked as a registered nurse on a cardiac telemetry unit at North Shore University Hospital. After obtaining her Master's degree and realizing her true passion, she began her career in dermatology as a nurse practitioner and has been treating patients of all ages with various skin conditions since then.
Angela is dedicated to ensuring patients receive the individualized care they deserve. She understands the profound impact dermatological conditions can have on the quality of one's daily life. She wants to help patients feel their best in their own skin by achieving their medical and cosmetic needs.
Native to Queens. Angela is fluent in Korean and continuously works on improving her Spanish. In her free time, she loves to read, travel, learn about new cultures and try new cuisine. She is also passionate about skincare and staying active with yoga and pilates.
Anna Kokolas, MSPAS, PA-C is a board-certified Physician Assistant in New York specializing in medical and cosmetic dermatology. Anna completed her undergraduate studies in biological sciences at Clemson University in South Carolina. She then went back to her home state of Maryland for several years and worked as a medical assistant at one of the top dermatology practices in the DC/MD/VA area. It is here that she found her passion for working in dermatology and helping patients who struggle with various skin conditions.
Anna moved to New York City and received a Master's Degree in Physician Assistant Studies from Pace University - Lenox Hill Hospital. She completed the TDS training program under the supervision of Dr. Choudhury and many other providers here. Anna is dedicated to providing superior medical care, compassion, and empathy to each of her patients. She is an active member of the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants, American Academy of Physician Assistants, and New York State Society of Physician Assistants.
In her spare time, Anna Kokolas enjoys frequenting dog runs with her dog, exercising, traveling, and spending time with family and friends. She's excited to begin her career with The Dermatology Specialists!

Dr. Alison Brett Gruen was born in New York City and raised in Scarsdale, NY. She graduated magna cum laude from Princeton University in 1996 with a B.A. in the department of History. In addition to her premed studies, she was the starting right wing for the National Championship Princeton Women's Rugby team in both 1995 and 1996.
After college, Dr. Gruen attended the Yale School of Medicine from which she graduated with an MD degree in 2000. Her thesis research was published in the Journal of Investigative Dermatology.
Dr. Gruen completed her medicine internship at St. Vincent's Medical Center in 2001 where she met and befriended Dr. Bobby Buka. She completed her Dermatology Residency at SUNY Downstate Medical Center, serving as Chief Resident. She was awarded the King's County Doctor's Day award for compassion in medicine. At SUNY Downstate, Dr. Gruen trained under Alan Shalita, MD, a world expert in the field of acne vulgaris. She was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Honors society at graduation.
Dr. Gruen has been practicing dermatology in Manhattan for 18 years and is thrilled to be a part of The Dermatology Specialists. She is committed to helping her patients feel confident in their skin.
Dr. Alison Gruen currently lives on the Upper East Side of Manhattan where she is raising two daughters. She secretly hopes one of them becomes a dermatologist.

Dr. Andrea N Persaud is a board-certified dermatologist who has been in private practice in New York City since 2004.
Dr. Persaud achieved her medical degree, MD, at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine, performed her medical internship at NYU-Bellevue Hospital Center, and completed her dermatology residency at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine. Her educational background also includes four years of dermatopharmacology fellowships at both Mount Sinai and the NYU School of Medicine-Tisch Hospital. Dr. Persaud has been involved in numerous clinical trials and her research has appeared in multiple publications. She has also been an invited lecturer at events including the 3rd Annual Mount Sinai Winter Symposium and the 19th World Congress of Dermatology in Zurich, Switzerland.
Dr. Persaud is a general dermatologist who has extensive experience treating a very wide range of skin-related issues and conditions.

Sharon Ramjattan is a board-certified Physician Assistant in New York specializing in medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology. She completed her training at Pace University, Lenox Hill Hospital Physician Assistant Program. She is an active member of Society of American Academy of Physician Assistants, and the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants.
Before joining the Dermatologist Specialists, she worked many years in plastic reconstructive surgery, orthopedic surgery, dermatology, emergency medicine, and urgent care. Sharon focuses on non-Mohs skin cancer surgery and the surgical treatment of pre-malignant and benign lesions. She also enjoys doing Botox, Fillers, Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) for hair loss and Acne scarring. Her areas of interest include but are not limited to eczema, acne, rosacea, hair loss, melasma, keloids, and psoriasis. Her goal is to treat and provide care to her patients with empathy and compassion.
In her spare time, Sharon loves trying new restaurants, traveling, biking, going to sports events, binging Netflix, and spending time with her two furry friends.
