Juan Echavarria

Juan joined Wray Legal in 2020 after working at a large full-service firm in Toronto where he gained experience in corporate and commercial law. Prior to this, Juan worked as a lawyer and articling student at a Legal Clinic where he practiced employment law and handled matters before Small Claims Court, the Ontario Labour Relations Board, the Human Rights Tribunal, and the Workplace Safety and Insurance Board. Juan is fluent in Spanish, and used to host a radio show in which he discussed current trends in employment and human rights law and their effect on diverse communities. Juan also held legal workshops in English and Spanish regarding employment rights. Juan earned a Juris Doctor from Queen's University Faculty of Law in 2017 and was called to the Ontario Bar in 2018. He is a member in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario.

Salman Rana

Job Titles:

Salman Rana practices general litigation with an emphasis on commercial disputes, administrative law, employment, and labour law. Prior to joining Wray Legal in 2023, Salman practiced independently representing clients with civil and commercial disputes including breach of contract, professional negligence, and breach of fiduciary duty. During his time in law school, Salman worked as a research assistant to several law professors which ultimately led him to serve as research support for intervenors appearing before the Supreme Court of Canada on public policy issues. Salman also co-founded and served as senior editor for Inter Alia, a student-run legal blog and recipient of the 2020 Clawbie Award. He completed his articles at a boutique litigation practice in Toronto and is fluent in English, Urdu, and Punjabi. Salman earned his Juris Doctor from University of Ottawa in 2020 and was called to the Ontario Bar in 2022. He is a member in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario.
