Alastair Cumming

Job Titles:

Alastair is a Chartered Surveyor with over 15 years' real estate experience. He joined London & Scottish in 2016 from GVA, where he was an Associate Director responsible for providing consultancy, brokerage and development advice on a range of commercial developments throughout central Scotland. Outside work Alastair is an avid sailor; however, it is his family that he is most passionate about.

Alastair McCall

Alastair joined London & Scottish in January 2020 following 15 years at JLL where he was a senior surveyor in the Property and Asset Management team and he actively managed a wide range of properties throughout Scotland the North of England and Northern Ireland. Prior to JLL, Alastair was a Property Manager with Scottish Mutual Assurance plc. and he actively managed a wide range of properties throughout Scotland the North of England and Northern Ireland. Prior to JLL, Alastair was a Property Manager with Scottish Mutual Assurance plc.

Alistair Hewitt

Job Titles:
  • Director of Corporate Finance
Alistair joined the company in November 2016 following 27 years with Bank of Scotland/Lloyds Banking Group where he was responsible for managing the bank's equity investments in its joint venture portfolio. Alistair brings a detailed knowledge of funding structures (both debt and equity) as well as broad experience of managing investments throughout the business cycle. Since joining the company Alistair has structured new facilities and refinancing for over £600 million of debt as well as leading the sale of significant high-value investments on behalf of the company and third-party investors.

Andrew MacGilp

Job Titles:

Andrew has worked in property and asset management for over 30 years. He joined the business in 2003 from CBRE and is a main board director. He leads and drives the pro-active management of the managed property portfolio overseeing an in-house team of 23 staff who undertake all property and asset management activity throughout the UK. A fundamental aspect of Andrew's service philosophy is working closely with tenants, regarded as customers, to foster strong relationships and ensure that assets are improved to enhance value. He has been instrumental in transactions totalling over £1 billion and has implemented a range of asset management initiatives, most notably the £8 million refurbishment of Tay House, a 157,000 sq ft flagship office development in Glasgow. He also oversaw the back-to-shell refurbishment and letting of 800 Aztec West, Bristol, a 72,000 sq ft office.

Andy Richardson

Job Titles:

Andy joined LSPIM in 2019 and oversees development activity throughout the UK. He has worked for over 30 years in real estate and brings a wealth of transactional knowledge and expertise across a number of sectors including Grade A offices, business and industrial parks, logistics and retail developments. As head of UK and European development for a listed entity, he oversaw the successful completion of several commercial projects through various corporate structures including joint ventures, funds and direct investment. He headed a UK team working with financial institutions and lenders on over 25 mandates repositioning and disposing of 18,000 consented residential plots covering 3,900 acres. Prior to acting as a principal Andrew was a partner of Ryden and Montagu Evans focusing on retail, agency and investment brokering. Andy has also worked with a number of public-sector bodies, delivering large strategic projects focused on economic regeneration and risk management. In recent years and working with local regional teams he has delivered logistics development in Eastern Europe working through a joint venture with a French contractor. As strategic adviser to a European REIT, he established a framework to reposition existing assets, which delivered a gross development value of 1.4 billion.

Ben Mitchell

Ben has been involved in the property industry for over 20 years. He is a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and experienced in strategic asset management, planning and development, investment, acquisition and disposals, corporate real estate, and mineral surveying.

Chris Fenwick

Job Titles:

Chris joined LSPIM in February 2023 with over 30 years' experience in commercial asset and property management gained in working throughout the UK and in Europe dealing across office, retail, industrial and aviation sectors. Chris is a qualified Chartered Surveyor elected to the RICS in 1994.

Claire Donaldson

Claire, who is RICS qualified since 1999, joined London and Scottish in May 2023. She has over 25 years' experience within the industry working on projects varying from extensive remodelling and repositioning of assets including multi let office developments, working with occupiers to deliver pre let development funding and exit strategies for retail parks, as well as being heavily involved in management, tenant and customer liaison. Claire is passionate about building teams that deliver successful environments and driving value.

David Irvine

David joined the LSPIM property management team in September 2021 and is responsible for a mix of Office and Retail properties in Scotland, Bristol and South Wales. With over 10 years' experience, he specialises in the set up and management of service charge budgets and transitioning of properties. Prior to this, David worked at London and Cambridge Properties where he was the Property Manager responsible for their full Scottish portfolio and Thornaby Town Centre. He also worked at CBRE as an Associate Director, where he managed the UK wide Sports Direct multi-occupancy investment portfolio and several office properties for clients including Abrdn, Kennedy Wilson and Harbert. David's experience also includes working as a Senior Surveyor in the Retail Team at Workman LLP, where he worked with clients such as Threadneedle and Hammerson.

Derek McDonald - COO

Derek is primarily responsible for operations at LSPIM. With over 30 years' experience in senior corporate roles, he provides strategic advice and management oversight to drive the business forward. He joined in June 2015 from REVCAP, where he was a Partner. Prior to that he spent 27 years at Bank of Scotland/Lloyds Banking Group in a variety of senior Corporate Banking roles. These included the bank's Corporate Banking business in the USA, the UK Real Estate Joint Ventures business, the European Real Estate business, the UK Business Support Unit and the Irish Business Support Unit. Derek's extensive experience also includes strategic development. He has successfully led a significant number of high-value transactions and had line responsibility for large teams of professionals.

Douglas Carswell

Doug joined the LSPIM development team in August 2016 and is responsible for property transactions, handling lettings, sales, acquisitions and liaising with legal teams. With over 30 years' experience, Doug specialises in institutional leases, lettings with multinational tenants, investment sales and managing agents. Prior to this, he worked at ExxonMobil where he managed the property and accounting aspects of the disposal of over 200 filling stations in six portfolio deals. He also spent 13 years as an asset manager at RBS where he oversaw the disposal of two complex property portfolios involving 130 leasehold properties. He also managed a portfolio of 1,150 properties, supervising external property managers, and acquired new property in the UK and throughout Europe.

Eamonn Stones

Since qualifying as a Chartered Surveyor in 2012 Eamonn has worked across the UK in regional and national practices in various departments and roles including auctioneering, commercial agency, valuation and landlord & tenant. He started his career in property in 2006 he has acted for clients from private individuals to large corporate organisations such as, IBM, Royal Mail, National Grid, UBER, Network Rail, NHS as well as multiple Universities and local authorities. Eamonn joined LSPIM in December 2021 from Pugh Auctions following several roles in general practice. Throughout his career Eamonn has provided strategic advice to tenants, landlords and developers in connection to lease events, market conditions and development opportunities with the aim of securing income and maximising value. In his current role as asset manager Eamonn takes care of multiple office buildings in the North of England from our Leeds office. Outside of work Eamonn follows a variety of sports but is a keen golf and a member of the Chartered Surveyors Golf Society.

Emily McVicar

Emily has recently joined LSPIM Asset Management, taking responsibility for adding value to property assets across the UK wide portfolio. Emily is a member of the RICS specialising in Commercial Real Estate. Prior to joining LSPIM, Emily worked in the Commercial Agency Team at Lambert Smith Hampton providing acquisition and disposal advice to both landlords and occupiers in both the public and private sectors. Outside of work Emily is a keen hill walking and runner. She hopes to one day of bagged all of the munros.

Euan Ross

Euan has more than 20 years' experience working throughout the UK property market across a variety of sectors including offices, retail, industrial and alternative sectors including hotels and science parks. Prior to joining LSPIM in February 2022, he worked at Paradigm Property Consultants and Montagu Evans, where he provided asset management, investment and development advice acting as both landlord and as property advisor to clients and investors across the UK.

Graeme Reid

Graeme joined London and Scottish in April 2018 and is responsible for project delivery. He selects, coordinates and manages multi-disciplinary professional teams and has a successful track record of delivering projects on schedule and within budget. He has over 30 years of retail, commercial development and project management experience gained from working on a diverse range of projects throughout the UK. Prior to joining LSPIM, Graeme worked for commercial developers such as Stannifer Multiplex and Vico Properties, delivering retail-led and office developments. More recently, whilst on secondment from Gleeds to Land Securities, he worked on the Buchanan Galleries shopping centre redevelopment. Many of the projects that Graeme has delivered have involved significant challenges. These have included heavily contaminated sites, such as former gas works requiring extensive remediation, and work in constrained locations such as railway stations and urban centres. On all developments, he oversees the requirements for master-planning and town planning. On every project, Graeme focuses on opportunities to add value, minimise risk and maximise investor returns. He is also a champion of sustainable urban development, and on every project works to support LSPIM's own challenging green targets.

Greg Norman

Greg joined LSPIM property management team in May 2022 and is responsible for the management of an office portfolio in the South of England. His role includes the set up and management of service charge budgets and the running of a large multi-building business park. Previously Greg worked as a Regional Manager for the leading serviced office company Regus and as an Estate Manager for Bauer Group

Hannah McInnes

Job Titles:
  • Graduate Surveyor
Hannah joined the LSPIM team in May 2022 and is responsible for the management of a diverse, UK-wide mixed property portfolio. She has recently completed a master's degree in real estate and has 18 months experience in both property and asset management. Hannah is working towards completing her APC accreditation.

Harry Dunhill

Harry joined London and Scottish in September 2021 in our Manchester office, Harry is a Chartered Surveyor who previously worked as a general practice surveyor in Leeds with a focus on Office Agency and Development in the Yorkshire Region and laterally as an Acquisition and Development Manager in the North- West.

Howard Hymanson

Job Titles:

Howard has recently joined LSPIM and will be responsible for the management of various large single and multi-let properties across the UK. His role includes administering service budgets, property compliance and health and safety legislation. Howard joins LSPIM following more than five years at Hurstwood Holdings. While at Hurstwood Holdings he worked in the Estates Management/Property Management Team, starting out as a Graduate Surveyor and working his way up to Senior Surveyor. During this time, he oversaw a portfolio of over 60 sites and 500 tenants. The portfolio encompassed all asset types including multi-let offices, retail parks and industrial estates spanning the Northwest of England. Additionally, he was a key figure in the acquisitions team, liaising with agents and auctioneers to assist in purchasing a record number of properties in 2022, as well as being involved in the residential new build schemes.

James Walker

James had recently joined LSPIM following 10 years at JLL. While being at JLL he spent time in their residential agency, office agency and valuation teams before joining property and asset management. He was an associate director within JLL's property and asset management team and managed all asset types including multi-let offices, retail parks, alternative assets and shopping centres across Yorkshire, the Northwest and Northeast. James worked for a variety of blue-chip clients, local authorities, and high net worth individuals. Additionally, he was responsible for the creation and implementation of 7 figure service charge budges and was involved in strategic asset management work to facilitate redevelopment.

Karen Mayman

Karen joined the LSPIM Property Management team in Feb 2022 and is responsible for the management of a mixed office and retail UK wide property portfolio. With over 20 years' experience in Property Management and Accounts, before joining LSPIM, Karen worked at JLL for 5 years in a Centre Manager/Facilities Management role, and prior this, worked for Asda Stores Limited at their Head Office, for 18 years.

Nick Pyman

Nick joined LSPIM's Manchester office in March 2016 from CBRE's retail management team. A highly experienced commercial property manager, with over 35 years' experience in commercial and retail property management, Nick has held numerous positions on both the corporate and agency sides of the property market.

Peter Clayton

Peter joined LSPIM's property management team in January 2016. He specifically looks to add value and enhance performance through void reduction, re-gears, maximising rents, managing tenants, and implementing maintenance and refurbishment projects. Prior to joining the company, Peter held positions at CBRE and Sanderson Weatherall, working in both London and Glasgow. His extensive experience includes responsibility for day-to-day property management, asset management initiatives, service-charge budget management, landlord and tenant matters, and reporting for a number of high-profile clients including M&G, CBRE Global Investors, Kennedy Wilson and the Co-operative Group.

Philip Shopland-Reed

Philip Joined London and Scottish in September 2023 based in Leeds and Manchester and has responsibility for adding value to property assets across a wide UK portfolio. Philip is a Chartered Surveyor with over 13 years' experience in the property industry covering variety of sectors including offices, industrial and retail. Prior to joining LSPIM he worked at Carter Towler and Eddisons providing agency and professional advice to landlord, tenants, and investors across the UK.

Rachel Christie - Chief Legal Officer

Job Titles:

Rachel joined London & Scottish in November 2015, initially on a year's secondment, and then on a permanent basis. She provides legal counsel for the entire group, manages the relationship with the company's external legal services provider, and works closely with the Board and senior management across all divisions. She is also Company Secretary to the Group. As GC, Rachel oversees the contractual aspects of the group's property transactions, which are in excess of £110 million a year.

Roisin Milligan

Roisin joined the London and Scottish in March 2016 as Investment Research Analyst. Prior to this she held positions at Morgan Stanley and the Scottish Chambers of Commerce.

Sarah Campbell - CFO

Sarah joined London & Scottish in 2015 as a board member and has been instrumental in developing the company's financial capability. She has grown the finance team from 8 to 21 people as the company's assets under management have grown and has overseen the design and implementation of a full process and control framework. Sarah qualified as a Chartered Accountant and Chartered Tax Adviser with PricewaterhouseCoopers, where she worked for seven years. During that period, she advised on a number of complex restructuring transactions before leaving to work in industry.

Simon Marriott - Chief Investment Officer

With over 30 years' experience in the commercial property industry, Simon oversees the investment strategy for LSPIM. He joined from Cromwell Property Group (formerly Valad Europe), where he was of Head of Investments and UK Real Estate. There he was responsible for £1 billion of investment, development and bank mandates across the UK, as well as investment acquisitions across 13 countries. Simon started his career working for a number of commercial Chartered Surveyor practices in London before moving to the principal side of commercial property investment/fund management in 1994. He went on to hold several senior positions including Director Real Estate transactions at PwC, Senior Vice President Managing Director Investments at Oxford Properties and Head of Separate Accounts at Invista REIM. Over his career Simon has grown and managed funds with an AUM of over £2.5bn, and has been involved in some significant property acquisitions, developments, joint ventures and disposals across the spectrum. He qualified as a Chartered Surveyor in 1992, is a member of the Investment Property Forum, and is an FSA "Approved Person".

Stephen Inglis - CEO, Founder

Stephen is CEO and founder of LSPIM. As well as setting overall corporate direction for the company, he is responsible for all investment and development activity. Since June 2013, he has acquired or sold more than 250 assets in deals totalling over £1.2 billion. A Chartered Surveyor with over 30 years' experience in the UK Real Estate market, Stephen's career has been based in both London and Scotland, giving him extensive knowledge of the UK property market. Having co-founded London & Scottish Investments (LSI) in 2012, he created two investment funds in 2013 and 2014, which were jointly ventured with Toscafund. He was subsequently instrumental in listing the funds on the London Stock Exchange in 2015 as Regional REIT Plc. As well as being CEO of LSPIM, Stephen is a Director (and de facto CEO) of Regional REIT and is a Director of LSI. He has been a member of the RICS since 2001 and is a member of the Investment Property Forum.

Stuart Lockhart

Stuart joined LSPIM in April 2021 and is responsible for operational property management functions including income collection, service charge management, service delivery, insurance and procurement and supplier management. He also manages the insurance contracts for all properties, handling recharging, claims and risk management. Stuart has over 20 years' experience in the real estate industry, and is skilled in lease administration and commercial property. He has particular expertise in working with landlords and the property management of shopping centres. He joined LSPIM from JLL where he was Director of Retail Management for Scotland. Prior to this, he worked as an Associate Director at BTW Shiells and as a Senior Property Manager at Stockland/Halladale.
