Asset Preservation was sparked during the Great Recession of 2008. Prior to forming Asset, Bruce Burr, its founder, was a highly decorated multi-million-dollar Custom Homebuilder throughout the metro area of Phoenix Arizona. With the housing market drying up and foreclosures on the rise, Bruce saw a need to create a company that could help solve the issues of neighborhood blight and the deterioration of the housing market. Unemployment was a major issue and meeting the needs of thousands of unemployed men and women was an honor. Asset became a steppingstone for many as we all struggled through the Great Recession. Having lost everything, (including being foreclosed on), Bruce jumped in and performed all the services himself. Through hard work and the will to survive, a company was created that understands what hardship is, and has compassion for those in its midst. With only $8.61 to his name, Asset was born.
