Grampian Hospital Radio broadcasts to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary, Aberdeen Maternity Hospital and Roxburghe House. We provide a service of a more personal nature to patients in hospital, helping to cheer them up and provide a distraction from their illness. Grampian Hospital Radio (GHR) is a registered Scottish charity - Registration No: SC002508. We are also a member of the Hospital Broadcasting Association... Grampian Hospital Radio (GHR) has provided a local radio station to the Hospitals in Aberdeen for over 30 years. Our membership is made up of volunteers who help in presenting programs, collecting requests, fundraising, maintaining our vast music library and also technical support to help keep out station on the air... Coming soon, we will be relaunching a radio service for the patients and staff of Royal Aberdeen Children's Hopsital, replacing Radio Rainbow which has been off air for a few months. Our new look website will have a section dedicated to this exciting new venture...
