Our aim is to provide music and movement-based groups which not only teach important skills and improve health but also help improve mental health, tackle feelings of isolation and loneliness, break down social barriers and give a sense of involvement in the wider community... We believe that music really is the best medicine and look to help people combat some of the barriers that can get in the way when you live in a rurally isolating area or an area of deprivation... Our RocksKool sessions include a beginner's class, advanced class and a weekly Jam Session. Our main aim in RocksKool is to give young people of all abilities and from all walk of life access to music tuition and the feeling of inclusion in our RocksKool band.
