Adam Wardel is an operational minded and results-oriented Attorney with more than 8 years of success across the legal, technology, and banking industries. Leveraging extensive experience leading corporate strategic and tactical legal initiatives to protect companies and their employees while affording new avenues for growth and revenue. As the current General Counsel & Data Privacy Officer for Simplus, a global technology services provider, he is building the legal department as the company's first in-house attorney, has completed two national acquisitions and two international acquisitions, and is directly involved in negotiating critical contracts and complex business transactions. His areas of focus are global operations, risk management & compliance, debt collection, and corporate governance. His broad areas of expertise include, mediation, international relations, and policy analysis.
Mr. Wardel enjoys serving as an advisor to several small businesses in Utah and finds energy in helping them grow. He also serves as Chairman for the Tribehouse General Counsel committee. Further, he remains a Managing Attorney for his own solo practitioner law firm, since 2012, where he dedicates the majority of the practice to pro bono and or indigent clients, offering more than 150 hours per year in pro bono work. He also worked from 2012-13 and 2016-17 as Manager of Legal Transactions for Select Portfolio Servicing and from 2013 to 2016 as Litigation Manager for the law firm of Parsons Behle & Latimer. He previously served in roles as a Judicial Clerk with the United States District Court of Nevada and as an Assistant for Alex Neil MSP, United Kingdom Parliament.
Adam holds a BA in Political Science and International Relations from Brigham Young University and a JD from Thomas Jefferson School of Law. He is conversational in Portuguese, Spanish, French and West African Creole (Barlavento).

Jay attended Brigham Young University, where he graduated in 1987 with his Bachelor of Science (BS) in Accounting.
Jay first started working in Corporate America for Farm Management Company in Salt Lake City. He was able to gain a great deal of experience as he was assigned multiple farming projects that ran independent of each other. He was able to learn a lot about accounting principles and how to apply them. After almost 5 years, he accepted a position in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia working closely with the Boeing Group. He learned a great deal about International accounting, including working with Letter of Credit and Letters of Guarantees. Upon his return to the States, he worked again for a small corporation getting the books set up and organized. He then started his own accounting practice concentrating on helping Small Businesses, providing them an affordable accounting solution. He continued to help small businesses as he accepted an accounting position working for Tahitian Noni Corporation. From there he was offered the Senior Accountant Manager position at FreeLinc Inc.
Even as he worked for other companies, he continued to maintain accounting clients of his own. One of his clients introduced him to Pratt and LeFevre over 3 years ago. Upon hearing the strategies offered by P&L, he was very impressed and started referring some of his clients to P&L. He has worked closely with Ron Haycock with clients that need tax accounting assistance for filing taxes and was recently offered the Pratt and LeFevre Accounting Manager position.

Ron was born in Fontana California in 1970, but has lived in Utah most of his life. He did all of his schooling through High School in Pleasant Grove, Utah then attended what is now Utah Valley University. Ron graduated with an Associates degree in Electronic and Computer Technology in 1993 then returned to school several years later and graduated in 2003 with an Associate's Degree in Business Management and a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting. Ron got his Life, Health, and Property and Casualty Insurance licenses in 1993, then his Real Estate license in 1999 and is passionate about helping other people any way he can.
