In 2004 the engineering academy was founded to provide local high school students a one week opportunity to learn more about engineering and interact with professionals of various disciplines. Today, The Savannah Engineering Academy continues its outreach with its summer camp offerings. Additionally, the organization is expanding to include a broader spectrum engineering topics in conjunction with STEM fundamentals that have become the cornerstone to primary education.
