Dr. Jacob Becker

Dr. Jacob Becker is a certified wellness practitioner and chiropractor who focuses on restoring the body to health naturally by creating balance in the spine and nervous system. He educates the community on the importance of a wellness lifestyle, which includes a balanced nervous system, proper diet and exercise, and a healthy mental attitude. Dr. Becker's mission is to educate and empower as many people as possible to experience their optimal health potential. He speaks regularly to local schools, businesses, and organizations on health, wellness, prevention and safety topics. Dr. Becker received his Doctorate of Chiropractic degree from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa in February 2009, graduating Summa Cum Laude. Prior to his studies at Palmer College of Chiropractic, Dr. Becker attended the University of Northern Iowa where he received his B.S. in Biology and minor in Chemistry. Dr. Becker interned with Olympian Dr. Dave Juehring the director of the Chiropractic Rehabilitation and Sports Injury Department at Palmer College of Chiropractic. Dr. Becker is dedicated to educating doctors and students alike on the most up to date methods currently being used by practitioners working with our nation's top athletes in the NBA, NFL, NHL, MLB and Olympics. Dr. Becker helps other doctors assure their patients are achieving optimal performance in sport and life and is passionate about bringing this level of care to serve the Chattanooga community. Dr. Becker has studied numerous safe and effective chiropractic adjusting and soft tissue treatment techniques. These techniques allow him to serve people of all ages with a variety of conditions. Dr. Becker expresses his passion for health and wellness daily and is committed to providing patients with the most effective means of natural health.

Dr. Jakob Taylor

Dr. Taylor was raised west of the Rocky Mountains in Grand Junction, CO. As an exceptional student athlete he was the recipient of academic and athletic scholarships to attend Adams State College. He was a member of the Cross Country and Track teams at Adams State College his freshman and sophomore years. It was a nagging running injury that led him to become a chiropractor, and that experience changed his life. In 2005 he packed everything he owned into a Jeep and made the trek to Davenport, Iowa to enter Palmer College of Chiropractic Four years later after thousands of hours of concentrated study, he completed his training and graduated in February of 2009 with a Bachelors of Science and Doctor of Chiropractic degrees. After graduation from Palmer, Dr. Taylor began his Chiropractic journey with three successful years of clinical practice in Knoxville, TN. He was married on the Isle of Palms in 2011 and along with his beautiful bride, decided to relocate to the Scenic City of Chattanooga. In 2012, Dr. Taylor opened True Wellness Chiropractic to accomplish his desire of providing the most comprehensive and outstanding Chiropractic experience in the Tennessee Valley. That practice has grown rapdily and evolved to become True Wellness Chiropractic in 2014. Dr. Taylor is very passionate about educating the community about health and wellness. He is a frequent keynote speaker at seminars, churches, businesses, colleges and community gatherings. In addition to being apart of the fastest growing practice in the country, Dr. Taylor enjoys running and paddle boarding with his wife Bethany and their sidekick Boston Terrier Bogart.

Paula White

  • Nurse Practitioner at True Wellness Integrated Medicine
Paula White is a nurse practitioner at True Wellness Integrated Medicine who partners closely with Dr. Jakob Taylor. She originally attended Lincoln Memorial University where she received her Associates of Science in Nursing. Paula then graduated from King College with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Graduating with honors, she completed her Master of Science in Nursing from Maryville University. She is board certified with the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) as a family nurse practitioner. Paula was born, raised, and currently resides in Athens, TN along with her husband Aaron and 2 daughters, Brooklyn and Aurora. During her spare time Paula enjoys baking, crocheting, reading, VOLS football, riding The Tail of the Dragon, and spending time with family.
