Bill is a prominent chemical engineer with a passion for investing in and advising early-stage companies. Having served as President of the American Institute of Chemical Engineers, Bill brings a powerful technical perspective to WVC alongside a vast amount of industry and business expertise. He has experience in developing and commercializing products that improve environmental performance and also consults clients on how they can improve their environmental footprints. Bill is highly entrepreneurial and is often found starting new programs and managing fast-track projects.
Bill graduated with a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Oregon State University. He later went on to obtain a Master of Business Administration degree with a concentration in Finance from the University of Oregon and was inducted into the Beta Gamma Sigma honors society. Bill is a registered Professional Engineer in Oregon and a Board-Certified Environmental Engineer.

David is a finance & investment professional with experience spanning the management of $5B of technology development capital for Intel Corporation, $10M of venture fundraising across biotech, and technology businesses, and four years of experience at WVC sourcing and screening deals, leading diligence efforts, and serving as board observer to portfolio companies. David is also co-founder and Portfolio Manager of Greyhound Asset Management, LLC, a private investment fund centered in liquid securities exposure to connected world technologies and disruptive innovation firms. Strategist, opportunist, relationship builder, focused communicator, and systems thinker with natural and formally trained analytic skills in science, business, and finance.
David earned a Biotechnology B.S., cum laude from SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry; Molecular Biology M.S. and Finance MBA from University of Oregon, and membership in Beta Gamma Sigma honors society.

Marc is a proven business strategist, entrepreneur, and technology executive with experience in startups, high-growth companies, turn around situations, and global project management at a major investment bank. He has successfully delivered results in technology, real estate, finance, pharmaceutical, publishing, direct response marketing, insurance, nonprofit, and other business sectors. Marc is especially adept at entrepreneurial development, capital formation, and coaching startups from launch through growth and exit.
Marc received a B.A. in Psychology & Chemistry from Columbia University in New York City and has continued post-graduate education at Harvard University.

Tom is a retired CFP® and Vice President of RBC Wealth Management, having spent 48 years in financial services and management at Royal Bank of Canada, Ragen MacKenzie / Wells Fargo, Dean Witter Reynolds, and other financial services firms. One of his key avocations has been start-up and "angel" funding, including investments and/or advisory roles at nearly two dozen small growth companies over the last two decades. For fun, Tom enjoys piloting his small airplane and collecting and playing fine guitars.
Tom graduated magna cum laude from the University of Maine with a B.S. in Business Administration, Finance.
