Biju Nair is EVP & president of Assurant's Global Connected Living business unit, which develops digital platforms that deliver comprehensive services, support and protection for the connected consumer. He is responsible for the financial performance and growth of the business across the markets we serve, as well as development of our people, products and capabilities. Nair also is a member of the company's Management Committee (MCOM) and has oversight for Assurant's International operations, which largely focus on Connected Living, to enable an integrated, global approach to talent, capabilities and client service. Nair's entrepreneurial and innovation leadership spans more than 25 years in the wireless industry. Previously, Nair served as the EVP and president of Assurant's Global Trade-in and Upgrade business. He joined Assurant in 2020 as part of Assurant's acquisition of HYLA Mobile where he served as president and CEO. HYLA Mobile focused on developing technologies to re-purpose pre-owned mobile devices, creating economic opportunities for wireless companies, providing a better experience for device owners its clients and promoting environmentally sustainable practices. Under his leadership, HYLA was named a most valuable startup in the nation by PitchBook and won the SME Award at The Circulars, the world's premier Circular Economy award program hosted by the World Economic Forum. Nair previously has served as EVP and chief corporate strategy officer for Synchronoss; Founder, chairman and CEO of Sapience Knowledge Systems (acquired by Synchronoss); SVP and GM of the Connectivity and Security Group at Smith Micro Software and corporate vice president, GM and founder of Mobility Solutions Group at PCTEL, Inc. (acquired by Smith Micro). He also has held senior executive positions at SAFCO Technologies and Agilent Technologies. Ernst & Young named Nair as a finalist for Entrepreneur of the Year in 2019 and 2020. He also is the recipient of the prestigious Chairman's Award for Communications Quality and Reliability from IEEE, the world's largest technical professional organization dedicated to advancing technology for humanity, for his work in providing basic technology services for those who are less fortunate so they can improve their everyday lives. Nair serves on the board of College of Computing at Illinois Institute of Technology (Illinois Tech) and as a commissioner on the Global Information Infrastructure Commission. He owns several patents in the field of wireless technology and is a frequent speaker at major wireless conferences, such as Mobile World Congress and Mobile Future Forward. Nair has a B.S and M.S in Electronics and Computer Engineering from Warsaw University of Technology and a M.S. in Computer Science from Illinois Institute of Technology in Chicago. He lives in suburban Chicago with his wife and three children.

Bob Lonergan

Bob Lonergan is executive vice president, chief marketing and risk officer for Assurant, Inc. and a member of the Company's Management Committee. In this role, he is responsible for marketing, corporate development, risk management, and shaping the Company's business and enterprise strategy with a focus on driving long-term profitable growth. During his tenure at Assurant, Mr. Lonergan has helped lead 50+ merger and acquisition transactions and growth investments that have helped the Company refocus its business strategy on the global housing and lifestyle markets. He has also helped to build out and strengthen Assurant's Enterprise Risk Management capabilities to address the most significant risks facing the Company. Prior to his appointment as chief strategy officer in 2016, he served as senior vice president, growth and innovation, and led a team responsible for driving growth initiatives across the enterprise with a buy, build, invest and partner strategy. In that role, he also established a ventures team to identify opportunities for investing in high-growth potential, early-stage companies to generate both strategic and financial returns for Assurant. Prior to that role, he served as vice president of sourcing, establishing an M&A sourcing function to ensure the strategic alignment of transactions with the Company's business strategy and to adopt a proactive mindset regarding M&A deals. Before joining Assurant in 2012, Mr. Lonergan worked at Bain & Company, Inc. There he helped start and grow the company's private equity practice in Atlanta, leading due diligence activities on more than 25 potential acquisitions. He began his career at Credit Suisse First Boston as a mergers and acquisition analyst. Mr. Lonergan holds a Master of Business Administration from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor of Arts in economics from Davidson College.

Debra J. Perry

Ms. Perry was elected to Assurant's board of directors in August 2017. She is the former Senior Managing Director for global ratings and research at Moody's Investors Service, a unit of Moody's Corporation. She served as the senior business leader for the company's Americas Corporate Finance Group, the U.S. Public Finance Group and the Global Non-Bank Financial Institutions Group and previously served as Chief Administrative Officer of Moody's Corporation. Ms. Perry also worked in fixed income research at First Boston Corporation and in a variety of corporate lending and capital markets roles at Chemical Bank. She currently serves as Chair of the Audit Committee of Korn Ferry International and as a member of its Nominating and Corporate Governance Committee. She also serves as Chair of the respective boards of the Bernstein Funds (a mutual fund complex that includes the Sanford C. Bernstein Fund, Inc. (since 2011), the Bernstein Fund, Inc. (since 2015) and AB Multi-Manager Alternative Fund (since 2018)). From December 2016 to May 2022, Ms. Perry served as on the board of directors of Genworth Financial, Inc. Ms. Perry previously served on the boards of MBIA Inc., CNO Financial Inc., PartnerRe Ltd., and the board of trustees of Bank of America Funds.

Elaine D. Rosen

Ms. Rosen was elected to Assurant's board of directors in February 2009 and became non-executive chair in November 2010. After serving in various management positions at UNUM Corporation since 1975, Ms. Rosen served as executive vice president of UNUM/Provident Corporation from 1999 to 2001 and as president of UNUM Life Insurance Company of America from 1997 to 1999. She currently serves as Lead Independent Director of the board of directors of Kforce Inc., where she is a member of its Compensation Committee and chairs its Corporate Governance Committee. She serves on the Board of Directors of Preble Street, a collaborative for the homeless and low income community in Portland, Maine. She also serves as a founding trustee and a member of the Executive Committee of the Foundation for Maine's Community Colleges. From January 2007 to March 2022, Ms. Rosen served as the Board Chair of The Kresge Foundation, and in June 2022, she retired from its Board of Trustees after 18 years of service.

Francesca Luthi is executive vice president, chief operating officer (COO) of Assurant and a member of the Company's Management Committee. In this role, she manages the Company's global operations, including Assurant's centers of excellence for data analytics, digital and AI transformation, and customer experience. To further maximize business value and connect the customer and employee experience, she also oversees Assurant's human resources, communications, global sourcing, and corporate real estate teams functions, and enables the company's Sustainability & DEI strategies. Previously, Ms. Luthi served as chief administrative officer where she focused on enhancing the Company's global brand and reputation among customers, employees, and shareholders by building strategic capabilities to attract and engage the best talent, foster a more diverse and inclusive culture, and drive long-term profitable growth. She led an extensive redesign of Assurant's human resources function to drive business outcomes and empower the Company's approximately 13,700 employees worldwide to achieve the Company's purpose. As part of this transformation effort, Ms. Luthi led a multi-disciplinary team to define and embed the key tenets of Assurant's culture to support the Company's strategy under President and CEO Keith Demmings. She also designed and executed Assurant's Future of Work initiatives, including redefining talent strategies, enabling flexible ways of working and restructuring of the company's global real estate portfolio to deliver an enhanced workplace experience. Prior to that, Ms. Luthi served as chief marketing and communications officer, successfully driving the repositioning of Assurant as a leader in the connected lifestyle market as part of the Company's multi-year transformation. Under her leadership, Assurant also deepened its focus around the customer experience by creating a dedicated center of excellence aimed at further embedding customer focus as a cultural imperative and accelerating the deployment of emerging technology, such as artificial intelligence, to deliver seamless, omni-channel experiences. As Assurant transformed its business, Luthi worked to further strengthen the Company's commitment to key environmental, social, and governance matters and DEI impacting its business and key stakeholders, garnering numerous accolades. Prior to joining Assurant in 2012, Luthi was senior vice president of corporate communication and investor relations at R1 RCM. Previously, she held senior-level investor relations and communication roles at BearingPoint and Accenture, where she was recognized for enhancing brand awareness, expanding the global shareholder base, and overseeing the repositioning of those businesses. Earlier in her career, Luthi helped establish the investor relations department at Omnicom Group after serving as a financial analyst at Morgan Stanley. An advocate for children with special needs, Ms. Luthi sits on the Board of Directors of the National Ability Center, empowering individuals of all abilities to build self-esteem and lifetime skills through sport, recreation, and educational programs. Ms. Luthi earned a bachelor's degree in economics from Georgetown University's School of Foreign Service.
