Alison Catlin

Experience and Background With 7 Airwave years under her belt, Alison has over 15 years experience in the customer services industry and has enriched her skills with elements of marketing and training along the way.

Becky Ambrose

Job Titles:
  • Project Coordinator
Becky provides project support across several of Airwave's product categories. Experience and Background Becky's degree in photomedia & design provided the obvious platform for a career in logistics. Roles working within a warehousing and logistics environment include the import of wine from Europe and a spell at electronics giant, Toshiba. From one television company to another, Becky joins Airwave with a wealth of project management experience.

Charlotte Walkes

Job Titles:

Charlotte manages a portfolio of Airwave's key hospitality and healthcare clients, responsible for all product categories within these sectors. Experience and Background

Chloe Chandler

Job Titles:
  • Assistant
  • Management Accountant
Chloe is a finance team all rounder, managing nominal codes, reconciling bank statements and dealing with the company purchase ledger, amongst other things. Experience and Background Chloe has always wanted to be an accountant and used her school years to prepare for a life of spreadsheets and numbers. A levels in business and finance preceded a degree in accounting and finance at Chichester University. Chloe is currently studying for her ACCA accreditation.

Claire Golding

Job Titles:
  • Project Manager
Claire is responsible for the project management of healthcare projects, but also finds time to manage Airwave house account TV and signage installations. Experience and Background Having joined Airwave from a LED lighting company, Claire is an expert in the project management of lighting systems and has project managed installations into a number of different sectors and environments, including the NHS, the MOD, schools and offices.

David Fogelman - CEO

Job Titles:
  • Chief Executive Officer
David controls all aspects of Airwave's strategic direction and is CEO and founder of Airwave's parent company, the SCCI Group. Experience and Background After a brief stint in the advertising industry, David worked at the family electrical retail business and in 1994, purchased one of the family shops - this led to the launch of Spectrum Selsdon Ltd (now Love Digital TV) in 2002. Spectrum's business grew from 2 to 80 employees and became one of the UK's largest Sky TV agents, installing satellite systems into residential properties and multi-dwelling units. In 2007 David became CEO of SCCI Group, borne from the merger of Spectrum Selsdon and SCCI International (now SCCI Alphatrack), managing all companies within the group. Other SCCI companies include outside satellite broadcaster Links Broadcast and finance company Switchsure. Having collaborated with Airwave on a number of high-profile projects, David knew the company well and his vision of a systems integrator superpower was realised with the acquisition of Airwave and previous Airwave subsidiary Techlive International, in December 2017.

David Taylor

David is responsible for the development of Airwave's hospitality and healthcare sectors in the north of England and looks after a number of the company's house accounts. Experience and Background With over 25 years experience in the hospitality industry, David spent his first ten years as a multi-skilled engineer before another long stint as an operations and project manager. Utilising skills gathered from both disciplines, he has spent the last 5 years in a technical sales environment, working for hospitality TV companies.

Harry Williams

Job Titles:
  • Technical Support Advisor
Harry joined Airwave on an apprenticeship programme and specialises in I.T and technical support whilst learning the business from the bottom up. Experience and Background After completing A Levels in classical civilisation, economics and business studies, Harry gained some life stripes preparing lunches for the residents of a local care home. Looking to develop an interest in computers and technology, Harry joined Airwave, commencing his apprenticeship in the customer services team.

James Grant

Job Titles:
  • Head of Group Marketing
James is responsible for all marketing activity across the company's portfolio of products and services. Experience and Background James' career in technology began as a retail account executive at Philips Electronics. A progression to hotel TV account manager marked his entry to the hospitality industry and saw him manage a number of system integrators - including Airwave. Diversifying his skillset at three other TV and technology manufacturers, James worked as a marketeer, project manager, business development manager and spent two years as a teacher of business studies at a school in Surrey.

James Randall

Job Titles:
  • Helpdesk Technician
James provides first line technical support, assisting customers with TV hardware and software related queries. Experience and Background A lover of tech, James studied Computer Science at Portsmouth University, and has since undertaken a variety of technical roles, including a stint as a field engineer for BT.

Jes Redgard

Job Titles:
  • Head - Healthcare & Public Sector Sales
Jes is responsible for healthcare and public sector sales, with an additional focus on the student accommodation market. Experience and Background Jes' degree in marketing & engineering ably set him up for a career in technology sales. His first position was sales manager for an electrical component distribution company; further roles included product design and development, solutions engineering and the setting-up and running of his own electronics distribution business.

Jon Arnold

Job Titles:
  • Interactive Systems Technician
Jon designs interfaces for smart GUIs such as Samsung REACH, Philips CMND, LG Pro:Centric, AirMedia and Otrum. He also assists Airwave's content support engineer with the configuring of tablets and graphical work. Experience and Background Having studied graphics at college, Jon's first post-education role saw him work as a multimedia assistant for a hospitality entertainment systems company. Enjoying the buzz of the industry, Jon soon knocked on Airwave's door and is now a key part of the creative team.

Julian Arnold

Job Titles:
  • Product Development Director
Julian is responsible for the sourcing of new products, the development of existing products and deals with the relevant commercial negotiations. In parallel to this, he looks after relationships with key partners and suppliers, conducts sales and technical training and assists the sales team with product demonstrations. Experience and Background Julian has been in the technology business since leaving university, commencing his career in video and audio production and the sale of audio-visual products. His interest in products and technology saw him work as product manager for a large LCD integrator ahead of joining Airwave. Julian has since been consolidating his expertise in hospitality in-room technology and has fulfilled a number of technical and product-based roles over the course of his ten years at the company.

Liviu Pavel

Job Titles:
  • Interactive Systems Engineer
Liviu is a field-based systems and network engineer and ensures all technical installations run smoothly and efficiently. Experience and Background Having earned a degree in sound engineering, Liviu embarked on a career that has gained him expertise in a number of technical disciplines. Commencing his journey in sound & stage lighting and media production, he soon specialised in room control and video distribution systems, becoming an expert in the technical delivery of software systems. Working mostly as a technical manager, Liviu has also enjoyed project and general management roles and puts his diverse skillset to good use in the Airwave arena.

Louise Hutchings - CHRO

Job Titles:

Louise oversees all aspects of HR strategy and operations across the SCCI Group. Experience and Background After commencing a career in the London insurance market, Louise changed direction, taking on a role as an HR Assistant at Commercial Union.Progressing quickly, Louise soon became HR Business Partner at Aviva Investors. 2009 saw a change of direction and the beginning of her career at the SCCI Group. An initial interim position as HR Consultant, turned into a full-time role, culminating in her promotion to the SCCI's Group HR Director. The SCCI Group has seen considerable diversification and growth over the last 10 years with Louise leading the HR team to successfully deliver a number of acquisitions and change programmes. Her key knowledge and experience is in M&A, TUPE, leading change, organisational development, employment law and employee relations. With offices in Harlow, Croydon and Billingshurst, Louise spends time with each of the group's businesses, develop an understanding of their business strategies - which are then translated into the development and implementation of coordinated people plans.

Mike Maidens

Mike is responsible for the customer service, procurement and warehouse teams whilst also overseeing HR, IT and the company's fleet manageme Experience and Background Mike started his career in the financial services industry, fulfilling a number of roles including sales, marketing, customer service and account management. A move to the industrial sector saw a first role in operations and the realisation that this was his calling. Earning operational stripes in a number of guises, including the running of warehouses and distribution centres, Mike's love of technology made Airwave his natural next step.

Nicolette Anscombe - CFO

Nicolette manages the day to day running of the company's finance department and is responsible for accounts payable and receivable, management accounts and the company's cashflow. Experience and Background From large sector roles within companies such as Lloyds TSB and Ericsson, to specialised roles in venture capital funded start-ups, Nicolette's 30-year career has thus far been diverse.

Paul Chambers

Job Titles:
  • Sales & Marketing Director
Paul oversees all sales and marketing activity across Airwave's portfolio of products and services and is responsible for the strategic direction of the company. Experience and Background Paul has extensive experience in the technology industry, predominantly falling in the sales and management of display technology. A period working as general manager for a large LCD integrator preceded his move to Airwave. A people person, Paul is well-known and highly respected in the hospitality and healthcare industries.

Peter Allen

Job Titles:

Peter raises support calls and provides first line technical support, assisting customers with TV hardware and software related queries. Experience and Background Known by family and friends as a "fiddler," Peter is constantly playing with/taking apart/investigating computers, phones and televisions. It's this love of all things technology that brought him to Airwave and the first step on his career ladder.

Peter Lacey

Job Titles:
  • Networks Installation Manager
Peter manages a number of the company's network and system installations. Experience and Background After a very brief stint as a trainee butcher, Peter decided that there was more to life than sausages and signed up for a short satellite networking course. His certificate of achievement was enough to secure an entry-level technical position at Techlive International where he's remained for over 25 years. Peter has worked for the majority of this time as a technical project manager, his role taking him all over the world.

Rob Simister

Job Titles:

Rob oversees Airwave's service team, looking after service contracts, maintaining systems, attending call-outs and dealing with all preventative maintenance work. With a focus on hospitality and healthcare, Rob is also a Sky in-room expert. Experience and Background Rob's career at Airwave began in the installs team as a fresh-faced fifteen year old. Learning on the job, he developed his technology career in a number of departments, working amongst other things as a service technician and project manager.

Rory Hammond

Job Titles:

  • Warehouse Manager at Nestle
Rory leads Airwave's technical department and sister company SCCI Alphatrack's special projects team, ensuring all technical deliverables are achieved in a timely and efficient manner. Experience and Background Commencing his career as a warehouse manager at Nestle, Rory soon realised that his keen technical mind was better suited to the telecommunications industry; he joined Airwave sister company SCC as a trainee systems engineer, becoming an expert in VSATS and two way satellite systems. Having earned his satellite stripes, Rory accepted a position as an engineer for a company in Brasilia, Brazil. His expertise served to assist in the monitoring of deforestation and rainfall levels in the Amazon rainforest.

Shannon Wiltshire

Shannon provides administrative support across a number of Airwave functions, including customer services, projects and sales. Experience and Background Having dabbled in lettings administration, Shannon soon discovered her love of "a good list" and was keen to join an organisation that requires a lot of organising. Toby Hart - COO

Job Titles:
  • Operations Director
  • Ops Director
Toby controls all operational aspects of Airwave's business, overseeing the project management, procurement, installation and customer service teams; he also manages some of Airwave's larger national accounts. Experience and Background Having trained as an electronics and field service engineer, Toby commenced his career as a technical manager for a major LCD integrator. A natural progression in an early role saw a move into special project management and the management of large scale projects for both UK commercial customers and the Dutch military. Toby joined Airwave to project manage a major TV rollout for the company's largest customer. Following a successful deployment, he has been instrumental in the growth of the company from 4 to 70+ employees.

Tom Chapman

Job Titles:
  • Project Manager
Tom manages hospitality and healthcare projects, dealing with Airwave's full portfolio of products and services. Experience and Background Tom began a career in hospitality technology as a fresh-faced teenager, making swivel stands for CRT televisions. He was soon involved in the installation of hotel TVs and continued this role on a part-time basis during his BA (Hons) in Business & Management Science. Brimming with business savvy, Tom joined Airwave competitor Quadriga, completing site surveys, managing installations and looking after large scale hotel chain projects. He continued in a similar vein at Acentic, again project managing chains such as Marriott and Hilton. Tom joined Airwave in 2018 and has now worked for many/most of the UK's large system integrators.
