Charlotte Douglass

Director Charlotte joined the asset management team at Equitix in June 2016. She has particular focus on the real estate assets within the Funds. Charlotte has over 13 years of transactional and advisory experience in Real Estate. Prior to Equitix, Charlotte was an Assistant Director within the Real Estate Corporate Finance team at Ernst & Young - undertaking transactional activity, strategic consultancy and restructuring across the Care Homes, Retail, Office, student accommodation and residential sectors for a range of private and public sector clients. Charlotte trained as a Commercial Property Surveyor at King Sturge, has a BSc in Chemistry from the University of Birmingham, an MSc in Real Estate Management from Oxford Brookes University and is a member of RICS.

Dr Simon Murphy

  • Chairman Dr Simon Murphy Chairs the Finance and Performance Committee of the Dudley and Walsall Mental Health NHS Partnership Trust
Simon has worked in a number of interim Chief Executive roles in the Voluntary and Community Sector. Simon holds a PhD in Conflict Regulation in Northern Ireland.

Julian Sutcliffe

Julian joined Equitix in May 2019 and he holds responsibility for a number of projects predominantly within Fund V across various sectors including, healthcare, rail and social housing. Julian has over 20 years of experience both in bidding and operating within the PFI/Infrastructure market specialising in lifecycle, construction management and healthcare projects . His most recent role prior to joining Equitix was as Lifecycle and Asset Director for the John Laing Infrastructure Fund. Julian has a Degree in Building and is a fully Trained Radiation Protection Supervisor.

Mark Grinonneau

Director Mark has extensive experience in the successful development of organisations in the private, public and third sectors. He has robust financial and contractual expertise across various organisational and funding models, with significant experience in solving complex challenges at strategic and operational levels whilst building and maintaining rewarding relationships. As a Board Director, Mark is tasked with overseeing the Department of Health's interests, shareholding and investment and to ensure sound governance and development.

Matthew Hartland

Matthew has worked in the health sector in the Black Country for the last 30 years. Whilst his background has predominantly been within NHS Finance, Matthew was Deputy CEO of Black Country Clinical Commissioning Group prior to being appointed as Chief Operating Officer of the ICB. Matthew is a qualified accountant and has a Masters of Business Administration, and undertakes his role on the Board as part of his ICB role.
