Brenda Acevedo

Job Titles:
  • Birth Mother Counselor
Brenda is a native Spanish speaker and has worked in the social services field for over 10 years. She graduated from Excelsior College in New York with a BS in Psychology and from Walden University with a Master's in counseling. After service in the U.S. Navy, Brenda settled in Texas and raised her son in Corpus Christi. Brenda has worked with birth parents and families all over the region.

James Greenberg

Job Titles:
  • Colombia Program Coordinator
James received his Juris Doctor from Hofstra University School of Law and his BA from Skidmore College. He was born in Bogotá, Colombia, and adopted at two weeks of age. James worked as a private U.S. immigration and international adoption attorney representing thousands of families with the process prior to the inception of the Hague. As an adult adoptee, James brings personal experience, professional commitment, and compassionate understanding to Alliance for Children.

Jenn Tobin

Job Titles:
  • Administrative Services Supervisor / International Adoption Specialist
  • Certified Paralegal from Bridgewater State College
A certified Paralegal from Bridgewater State College, Jenn Tobin has worked at the agency since 2004 and specializes in immigration services and international adoptions. Jenn enjoys dancing, movies, traveling, babysitting, and spending time with friends and family - especially her two nephews.

Lauren Cullinane

Job Titles:
  • Onboarding Coordinator / Domestic Adoptive Parent Liaison
A graduate from Emmanuel College, Lauren Cullinane joined the Alliance in 2019 and serves as the Program Assistant for the agency. She has a passion for helping others and is honored to be part of families' adoption journeys. In her spare time, Lauren enjoys traveling, reading, cooking, and spending time with friends and family.

Leslie Zindulka

Job Titles:
  • Birth Parent Counselor / Supervisor
Leslie Zindulka, MSW, LSW, LCSW-R, is a graduate of Columbia University. She is an adoptive parent and has been professionally connected to adoption for the past 25+ years as a social worker for domestic and international programs and a birth parent counselor. She is honored to be a part of the team supporting birth parents, working with adoptive parents and helping to build organic connections. In her free time, Leslie enjoys spending time with her family, hiking, gardening, and traveling.

Linda Gillis

Job Titles:
  • Administrative Program Assistant
Linda joined the Alliance for Children team in 2019. She is a graduate of Bridgewater State University with a degree in early childhood education and has her Master of Education in moderate special needs. Linda enjoys traveling, gardening, baking, bird watching and spending time with her two children.

Megan Chen

Job Titles:
  • International Program Coordinator
A graduate of the University of New Hampshire, Megan Chen has worked at the Alliance since 2007. Megan enjoys traveling and values the many trips she has made to orphanages overseas. In her spare time, she spends time with her husband and three children.

Michelle Kelley

  • Administrative Program Assistant
A graduate of Bridgewater State College, Michelle joined the Alliance team in 2021 as an Administrative Assistant. Michelle is an avid reader, enjoys traveling and spending time with her family.

Michelle Solomon

Job Titles:
  • Administrative Program Assistant
Michelle joined the Alliance as an Administrative Assistant in 2021. She holds a degree from The University of Massachusetts Amherst in Elementary Education and Psychology and has a background working as a Social Worker and teaching in Boston, Newton and Medfield. Michelle loves travelling and spending time on Cape Cod with her husband and three sons.

Nancy Morin

  • Expectant Parent Program Coordinator
A graduate of the University of Central Florida, Nancy Morin has worked at the Alliance since 2003. She specializes in Birth Parent Care & Case Coordination. In Nancy's free time, she loves to volunteer as a Court Appointed Special Advocate for children in state custody.

Renee Lubowich

Job Titles:
  • Chief Clinical Officer
Renee Lubowich, LICSW, is a graduate of Michigan State University, and has worked at Alliance for Children since 1998. She has devoted herself to the field of adoption and has worked as a social worker, supervisor, program coordinator, counselor, and therapist. Renee is deeply touched by all the wonderful people she has met through adoption. In her free time, Renee enjoys a range of creative crafts and projects.

Susan Wright - COO

Job Titles:
  • Chief Operating Officer
Susan Wright graduated from Wheelock College with a BS in Early Childhood Education and an MS in Family Studies. Susan spent 29 years as a teacher/ Director of an Extended Day program in Brookline, MA. She was also the Director of Operations for the Meadowbrook Day Camp in Weston, MA for 24 yrs. Susan's association with The Alliance for Children began in 2006 when she adopted her daughter.She then became a member of the Board of Directors of the agency in 2016 and moved into the role of President of the Board in 2020. Working with children and families has always been a passion for Susan and she is excited to be part of the amazing team of professionals at the Alliance.
