Michelle Bartov was born and raised in New York. Michelle graduated cum laude from St. John's University School of Law in 2016 after receiving dual degrees from the University of Wisconsin - Madison in Legal Studies and Sociology, as well as a certificate in Criminal Justice. Michelle completed her undergraduate studies in three years and was honored to receive a full merit scholarship to St. John's University School of Law. At St. John's, she was a member of the St. John's Law Review and Moot Court Honor Society. Since finishing her studies, Michelle has focused her practice on criminal defense. Michelle has a passion for this area of law and enjoys getting to know her clients as she guides them through the complexities of the court system and ensures their rights are protected. Michelle serves as the region 7 representative on the Executive Board Member of the Oregon New Lawyers Division (ONLD) and is co-chair of the ONLD Access to Justice Committee. In addition, Michelle is a proud member of the Oregon Criminal Defense Lawyers Association (OCDLA) and National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers (NACDL), which Michelle utilizes to stay on top of all the latest legal news, trends, and resources. Michelle lives in West Linn with her husband Jonathan, son Noah, their three cats, Miles, Rory, and Julian, and their Border Collie/Blue Heeler mix, Boomer. When not in the courtroom, Michelle enjoys reading a good book, rooting for the Wisconsin Badgers, and baking.
