Ginny Fuerst-Kinnebrew - President

Ginny Fuerst-Kinnebrew, President, is located in Central Washington. Ginny completes the BRG management team, supplementing the robust field and technical expertise of her partners with her management, strategic development, and communications expertise. Ginny's background includes small business consulting, consumer products and non-profit management, strategic program and product development, freelance writing, and higher education. Ginny formerly managed a consumer products brand with $70M P&L responsibility, and was heavily involved in strategic planning, budgeting, and market development. She has also managed community engagement, program expansion, and small business mentorship for a non-profit economic development organization. Each of these roles has offered significant opportunities for collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, supervision of programs and personnel, and strategic planning and oversight. With extensive experience in public speaking, written communication, community relations, and corporate outreach, Ginny is a skilled spokesperson and advocate for BRG. She is actively engaged in her local community and contributes her time to a number of non-profit organizations, specializing in education, STEM, and the protection of natural resources. She also volunteers her expertise to support local organizations requiring assistance with fundraising, grant writing, and proposal submission. Neil Kinnebrew

Neil Kinnebrew, Managing Partner and Professional Geologist located in Central Washington, has more than 25 years of experience in the fields of Site Investigation and Remediation, Regulatory Compliance, Petroleum Geology, and Groundwater Fate and Transport. Prior to joining BRG, Neil worked as a hydrogeologist and project manager for CH2M Hill and Jacobs Engineering, and he was the Geology Operations Manager at BP Exploration Alaska. His environmental work has focused on remedial investigation/feasibility study projects, remedial design/action projects, solid waste landfills, wetlands treatment, groundwater monitoring, soil gas investigation, and projects involving groundwater and contaminant transport modeling. In addition to his laboratory research investigating microbially-enhanced hydrocarbon remediation and fate and transport of heavy metals within acid mine drainage, Neil possesses a diverse project management background. His unique project history includes the concurrent closure of over 60 contaminated sites on a remote Alaskan Air Force Base. Neil also managed the recovery and remediation of a highly sensitive US Air Force F-22 crash site in remote Alaska, and he managed the remediation of leachate migration from an unlined landfill on Kodiak Island. Today, Neil leverages his diverse technical and management experiences to resolve smaller-scale environmental challenges and to meet the needs of clients in Washington State. Education M.S. Quin Kinnebrew

Quin Kinnebrew, Managing Partner and Professional Geologist located in Southern California, is the Principal Geologist and Founder of Black Rock Geosciences (BRG). With more than 30 years of environmental experience, Quin's expertise includes Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs), Subsurface Investigations, and Contaminant Remediation, as well as Investigation and Remediation of Hazardous Materials releases. Quin's extensive field experience has allowed him to efficiently and cost-effectively design and implement field investigations, as well as any necessary follow-up remediation. Recent representative projects that Quin has completed include the investigation of a jet fuel release at the Korean Air Lines' Cargo facility at the Los Angeles International Airport, and a comprehensive investigation and assessment of remediation options at a former circuit board manufacturing facility with trichloroethylene (TCE) contamination. Quin has served as the remediation manager for numerous projects such as the excavation and off-site transport of contaminated soil during the installation of a new storm drain pipeline beneath a Long Beach roadway. In addition, he managed remediation of oil well sumps in the Aliso Canyon gas storage facility that had leached petroleum hydrocarbons, solvents, and metals into nearby protected environments. In addition to continuing his operations in Southern California, Quin will be supporting the expansion of BRG by contributing his experience and expertise to projects in Washington State.
