CHECKERS NETBALL

This is the home page's excerpt... We play in-club social netball on Thursday evenings, competitive league games on Saturday mornings, social league games on Sunday mornings, and enter national and international tournaments. We are a social club with weekly pub sessions at The Dunbar pub on Dunbar Street, and club events such as the Christmas party and BBQ's on the beach... The Checkers philosophy is "try to win, but have a good time as well". We have a welcoming and positive attitude towards newcomers and have fun on and off the court. We welcome anyone from 18 years old and any fitness level. Whether you are there to have fun or have a competitive streak, there is a team and league for you. We also have opportunities for development with umpire training available throughout the season.
