Clean Marine Group operates to protect the marine environment, by collecting and processing waste oils, oily mixtures, ballast water, effluent and other waste streams from the normal operation of Ships under Annexes I, II, IV and VI MARPOL 73/78 (Convention for the Prevention of Pollution from Ships 1973 as modified by the protocol of 1978)... Clean Marine Group has secured the Grand Bahama Port Authority License to operate the first Caribbean MARPOL port reception Facility, based in Freeport Harbour, Grand Bahama. Our facility will service the whole of the Wider Caribbean, and at 100ft, Freeport is the deepest Harbour on the Eastern Seaboard and capable of docking Post-Panamax III ships and VLCCs... Clean Marine Group has the license to provide the Caribbean's first full MARPOL Port Reception Facility. Capable of processing 120,000 tons of oily waste per annum, it will service the whole of the wider Caribbean.
