Dr Davina Wilson

Job Titles:

Dr Davina Wilson graduated with first-class honours in medicine and surgery from Barts and The London in 2008. She was nominated for the prestigious University of London gold medical award, given to the top 20 medical students over 5 universities. Dr Davina is the owner of Look Lovely London. She has been working in General practice and delivering high-quality skin treatment for over a decade. She is a member of the General Medical Council, The Royal College of GPs and Save Face which regulate patient safety in aesthetics. She has carried out over 10,000 procedures with no complications to-date. Her gentle approach and meticulous training are reflected through outstanding results. She is one of the most respected cosmetic doctors in West London. Davina has been training GPs and nurses for the last 5 years which has then allowed them to be confident and practice independently. She is particularly good at using cannulas and has been trained in advance procedures like tear trough treatments and the non-surgical rhinoplasty.

Dr Felix Karst

Dr Felix is a dually qualified doctor and dentist, GMC registered, and originally from Germany, with several years of experience as a trainee maxillofacial surgeon in the NHS. Felix received his medical degree from the Charité University Hospital Berlin and went on to complete a dental degree at King's College London with honours. During his time in maxillofacial surgery in both Berlin and London he developed a special interest in facial reconstruction and orthognathic surgery. The constantly evolution and innovation in non-surgical aesthetics sparked his curiosity into the field. It is the holistic approach to patient care that has motivated Felix to further develop his skills in facial aesthetics, understanding and weighing up every patient's personal needs and expectations. Felix has a special interest in the anatomy of the face and has been teaching students and doctors for over 8 years. He is a member of the Royal College of Surgeons and the German Society for Botulinum Toxin and Filler Treatment. Felix works alongside Director Dr Olding building and developing educational resources in cosmetic injectables training, and he is also an injectables trainer on the Junior Trainee Mentorship Scheme (JTMS).

Dr Jane Leonard

Dr Jane is a fully qualified GP and Cosmetic doctor, qualifying at University of Manchester. She also has a first class honours degree in anatomical sciences, in which she focused her studies on the anatomy of the face, head and neck. She completed her aesthetic training on Harley Street following a placement at The Alfred Hospital Medical Research Centre, in Melbourne, Australia. Her work in Dermatology research has been published in the prestigious Australasian Journal of Dermatology. With nine years of aesthetic treatment experience, she has been nominated for the Cosmetic Doctor of the Year in the Safety in Beauty Diamond Awards for the second year running and also nominated for Safety in Beauty Best Patient Journey award. Her work has been published in Grazia, Vogue, InStyle, The Telegraph, Women's health, Fabulous Magazine, Cosmopolitan and the Daily Mail. She regularly writes articles for The Aesthetics Journal along with health and beauty online magazine Byrdie. During the Covid pandemic Dr Jane joined the Covid 19 escalation centre in Soho. She was one of the original frontline doctors that set up this unique service that other doctors and medical services refer patients with Covid symptoms and the team assess how best to manage them. Dr Jane has regularly spoken on radio and online about her professional and personal experiences of working as a frontline doctor.

Dr Jordan Faulkner

Dr Jordan completed his medical degree at the University of Nottingham in 2018. He went on to complete his foundation training in the North East of England before moving to Chelsea & Westminster Hospital, where he continues to work across surgical specialties (plastic surgery & trauma and orthopaedics). He has completed post graduate surgical exams and is a member of the Royal College of Surgeons of England. He completed foundation and advanced training in dermal fillers and anti-wrinkle injections in March 2021 with Interface Aesthetics. Since then he has also had training in full facial rejuvenation and has completed a non-surgical rhinoplasty masterclass. He is currently completing a level 7 diploma in Aesthetic Medicine. Outside of clinical practice, Dr Jordan has been heavily involved in research and has published papers across multiple specialties including aesthetic medicine, plastic surgery, trauma & orthopaedic surgery and cardiology. He has presented his research at multiple national and international conferences, including FACExpo in November '22. He is also a keen teacher of medicine, and provided teaching to Biopharmaceutical Medicine Students at the Claude Bernard University in Lyon, France. He now has a role at Interface Aesthetics as a trainer on the JTMS and foundation courses.

Dr Steven Brandsma

Dr Steven Brandsma studied Medicine in Maastricht in the Netherlands where he did his senior internship in the Ear, Nose and Throat - Head and Neck Surgery department. He then continued to work in the Netherlands in surgery, and subsequently came to the UK to start his career in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery. He passed his Membership of Royal College of Surgeons exam. He recently graduated in Dentistry from King's College London as part of the Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery training pathway and he continues to work in various hospitals in Wales and London in the same field. He did his training in medial aesthetics at Interface Aesthetics and currently practises aesthetics in London and Wales. He developed his own course for teaching undergraduate students head and neck anatomy. Steven has a passion for education and examination, having been a student member on the board of examiners during his medical degree. His important role includes ensuring that examinations at Interface Aesthetics are valid and fair, adhering to the strict assessment guidelines and procedures involved in the Ofqual-regulated Level 7 Diploma in Injectables.

Dr Yousrah Ahmed

Dr Yousrah qualified from the University of Manchester initially as a dental therapist in 2006, then after a year in practice wanted to further enhance her training and skills, and went on to study as a Dentist. She qualified in 2012. Dr Ahmed's experience of treating patients and dedication to continuously enhance her clinical skills drove her to training in aesthetics. She has been in the aesthetic field since 2014 and has a Diploma in Clinical aesthetic injectable therapies. Dr Yousrah has been a clinical trainer since 2018, and has worked with OTHM awarding body and has been involved in writing qualification specifications, as well as being a member of the British Society of Aesthetic examiners & Assessors. Dr Yousrah is a national Key opinion leader for Relife Menarini and is involved in training medics in the Relife fillers, Peels as well as threads. She has recently joined interface aesthetics as a clinical trainer and level 7 Mentor.

Julie Scott

Julie Scott is an NMC registered Independent Nurse Prescriber and Level 7 qualified aesthetic injector with over 25 years experience in the field of plastics and skin rejuvenation. Julie began her career as a plastics and reconstructive nurse at leading NHS hospitals and worked as the clinical nurse specialist for a renowned group of London plastic surgeons. In 2003, Julie opened her own clinic and since then has grown Facial Aesthetics Ltd. to a successful aesthetics clinic providing wide ranging therapeutic techniques for skin ageing and dermatological skin conditions to patients across Essex. Julie believes in prevention and maintenance to achieve maximum skin health. She has joined Interface Aesthetics as a clinical injectables trainer, having taught extensively over her career. Julie firmly places safety and patient-centred care at the fore of her clinical practice.

Lisa Whiting

Lisa Whiting is an NMC registered Independent Nurse Prescriber and Level 7 qualified aesthetic injector with over 16 years experience in the field of medical aesthetics. Lisa comes from an extensive surgical background starting her career in 2004 in Derriford NHS hospital in Devon. In 2006 Lisa relocated to Berkshire where she worked within the surgical divisions as a Senior Scrub Nurse for the private sector being involved in all manner of specialities such as Plastics, Cosmetics, Orthopedic, Gynaecology and General/Laparoscopic. During this time she became the Lead Plastics/Cosmetics Nurse and Pre-Assessment Lead Nurse for a brand new hospital and in 2008 helped to open and manage a brand new aesthetic clinic, securing CQC registration. In 2012 Lisa started her own aesthetic clinic, Lisa Whiting Aesthetics which she runs independently in Reading, Berkshire offering a whole range of medical treatments such as toxins, dermal fillers and prescription skincare. She is also one of the UK's Obagi Medical Ambassadors. Lisa feels that gaining her Independent Prescribing and Level 7 qualifications has been instrumental to her clinical and business success as ensuring patient safety and excellent clinical practice is always at the forefront of her mind. Becoming the Lead Assessor for Interface in early 2022 means that her passion for patient safety and clinical excellence can be used to help the professional growth of new practitioners to the aesthetic industry.

Melissa Pugh

Mr James Olding

James graduated from the University of Bristol in 2012, achieving Honours in Bachelors of Medicine & Surgery. He became a Member of the Royal College of Surgeons of England in 2015 (by examination), and is now a Specialist Registrar in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery in London, having graduated with Honours in Dentistry from King's College London in 2021. Following on from a longstanding interest in the treatment of diseases and trauma in the face, and in conjunction with training in facial surgery, James became fascinated with facial aesthetics, seeing non-surgical treatments as an essential component of managing patients' cosmetic concerns. He rapidly moved to combine and integrate the different aspects of professional practice in facial aesthetics, drawing on surgical & non-surgical experience, as well as continued NHS practice and care of acutely ill patients with facial injuries. Having established a successful private aesthetic practice, James was troubled by the lack of regulation in the sector, and decided to combine a campaign for higher standards with his passion for teaching through establishing Interface Aesthetics in 2019. In addition to multiple publications in the area of facial trauma, James has presented nationally on the topic of safety and regulation in aesthetics. He is actively involved in campaigns to improve patient safety and increase regulation in injectables, and has been multi-award nominated both as an individual practitioner and for his role in Interface Aesthetics.

Mr Marcelo Pereira

Mr Marcelo Pereira graduated from the University of Buckingham in 2014 with a BA in International Business. He moved immediately into the healthcare industry, taking up roles in international recruitment of doctors and nurses to the NHS. His experience in dealing with healthcare professionals from a variety of different systems, as well as his understanding of UK healthcare systems, provided a basis for developing an interest in the aesthetics industry in the UK. Marcelo also brings a perspective on the industry from his native Brazil; the country which undergoes the second highest number of cosmetic procedures globally. Combining his healthcare industry experience and his interest in aesthetics, Marcelo decided to join Interface Aesthetics, taking on the important role of Lead Model Coordinator. Marcelo handles all stages of model patient recruitment; a central role for Interface Aesthetics, which places hands-on training with live models at the core of our teaching philosophy.

Zahraa Maiter

During her time at university, she has completed an intercalated degree in Regenerative Medicine and Innovation Technology, along with being involved in university societies such as Dental Student Council, Women in Dentistry and dental outreach. As she has progressed through her course, she has developed a strong interest in both cosmetic dentistry and facial aesthetics, which led her to conduct further reading into these fields. Zahraa enjoys learning about issues relating to patient motivation and expectations, along with the need for more regulation within the medical aesthetics industry, and this interest led her to join the Interface Aesthetics team. Looking to the future, Zahraa is excited to watch Interface Aesthetics grow and continue to push for positive changes within the field. Zeanab Chaer 4th Year Dental Student, King's College London JTMS Coordinator Zeanab is a Dental Student at Kings College London with a particular interest in Aesthetics. Whilst Aesthetic Dentistry is tightly regulated; facial aesthetics lacks the necessary tight control. Therefore, Zeanab joined Interface Aesthetics keen to be part of a movement that is fighting for improved regulation and patient safety. Zeanab's role as JTMS coordinator is to enable undergraduate healthcare students to begin their facial aesthetics journeys with a strong foundation.
