In 2007 Linn started making costume jewelry efter being inspired by a friend of hers. The first sets were created from DIY sets from Panuro hobby, shortly followed by sets made by semiprecious stones such as onyx, jade and quartz. By the start of 2016, Linn signed up for a course in silversmithing at Folkuniversitetet in Lund, Sweden. This was the start of LAD.
