MajiAgri Solutions was formed in 2015 with the aim of transforming the livelihoods of smallholder farmers in Kenya through addressing the informational, skills and technology gaps that exists between agricultural research and the actual practice by farmers. Over time, it became apparent to us that a major starting point to address the challenges that farmers face today (in light of climate change) is to transform farming from rain-fed to irrigated practice. With dwindling natural water sources, we developed water harvesting solutions to serve as a sustainable avenue to avail water for irrigation.
