The Marion County Museum of History and Archaeology is a research and teaching institution located at the McPherson Governmental Complex just off Southeast 25th Avenue in Ocala. Our displays, exhibits and programs cover 13,000 years of human history in this wonderful area... Our field programs in archaeology afford local residents the opportunity to "write their own history" by discovering parts of our region's incredible past.
