Abbe Fralix

Abbe joined Marshall and Taylor in 2022 as our Client Relationship Specialist. Prior to joining our firm, she held administrative positions with Mary Baldwin University, Steadfast Shakespeare Company, and various small business ventures. Outside the office, Abbe is active in the local professional theatre community, working as an actor and educator with such companies as Burning Coal Theatre, Sweet Tea Shakespeare, William Peace University, and Wake Technical Community College. She holds a BFA from William Peace University and an MLitt and MFA from Mary Baldwin University.

Andrea Ganzenmuller

Andrea Ganzenmuller joined Marshall & Taylor in 2020 as our Operations Manager. Her extensive experience in Operations, Process Development, and Project Management spans over 17 years in various industries from home textiles to telecommunications. A native New Yorker, Andrea moved to the Raleigh area in 2016. She knows from her own personal experience that the services provided by Marshall & Taylor are life changing for our clients. Maintaining a supportive, client-centered approach is the cornerstone of her Operations philosophy. Outside of the office, Andrea enjoys spending time with her three children, exploring the many parks and hiking grounds in her new home state.

Caroline Lonon

Caroline was born and raised in Greensboro, North Carolina. After graduating from Southeast Guilford High School, Caroline attended North Carolina A&T State University (Aggie Pride!) where she first discovered she wanted to become a lawyer. After graduating summa cum laude with a BA in Political Science, Caroline moved to Raleigh, North Carolina to attend Campbell University School of Law. While at Campbell, Caroline interned at the North Carolina Equal Access to Justice Commission in Raleigh, North Carolina and Mewborn & Deselms in Jacksonville, North Carolina. During her third year at Campbell, Caroline was a certified legal intern and student of the inaugural class of the Gailor Family Law Litigation Clinic where she had the opportunity to gain practical family law experience and give back to the community by assisting low-income clients in Wake County. In addition to her internships, Caroline was actively involved in student organizations at Campbell, serving as President of the Student Bar Association, a Project Manager for the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) pro bono project, and Vice President of the Campbell Public Interest Law Student Association. Additionally, Caroline competed in the 29th Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot, traveling internationally and competing against teams from hundreds of schools worldwide. Caroline joined Marshall & Taylor in August 2022 and concentrates her family law practice on child custody, child support, spousal support, property division, separation agreements, and divorce litigation. Caroline lives in Raleigh, North Carolina with her daughter and her dog, Sam. In her free time, Caroline enjoys traveling, hiking, reading, yoga, and spending time with friends and family.

Gracie Glover

Gracie Glover is a North Carolina native originally from Swansboro, North Carolina. Gracie graduated from East Carolina University in 2017 with a degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting. While at ECU, Gracie was involved in several on-campus activities and received state-wide recognition for her leadership within those organizations. She spent the following year after graduation traveling to campuses across the United States, providing assistance and programming to student leaders. Gracie attended law school at Campbell Law in Raleigh. While at Campbell, Gracie was the head of the Campbell Law Innocence Project and a Campbell Community Law Clinic member. In the community law clinic, Gracie served clients in various matters, including record expunction, driver's license restoration, title repair, and domestic violence protection orders. After graduating from Campbell, Gracie was an associate attorney at a civil litigation firm representing clients in real property, municipal, and business litigation matters.

Holly King

Holly joined Marshall & Taylor, PLLC, in June of 2020, with her practice focused exclusively on family law. She has experience representing clients in a wide variety of complex family law matters, including divorce and separation, child support, child custody, alimony, property division, and domestic violence. She is an experienced courtroom advocate and is dedicated to representing the interests of her clients, as well as guiding them through the complex and often intimidating legal system. In addition to courtroom litigation, Holly has represented clients at mediations and other collaborative law proceedings, and has experience negotiating settlements and separation agreements. Holly has experience representing clients throughout the state of North Carolina and enjoys learning the nuances of the practice of law in each county. Prior to joining Marshall & Taylor, Holly was the owner and operator of her own firm, Holly King, PLLC, for almost five years. Holly is a member of the Wake County Bar Association, the North Carolina Bar Association, and the American Bar Association. Holly has been a volunteer with the Lawyer on the Line Program and is also a previous member of the Tenth Judicial District Fee Dispute Resolution Committee. She is currently serving on the Swearing-In Committee for the Wake County Bar Association. In her free time, Holly enjoys running, horseback riding, and spending time with her German Shepherd, Axel.

Jeffrey E. Marshall, one of our founding attorneys, has been dedicated to providing families with excellent legal counsel since graduating from Capital University Law School. Marshall has been named a Top 100 Lawyer by the National Advocates, included in "Top Attorneys in North Carolina" by Charlotte Magazine, and included on a list of the 10 Best in Client Satisfaction by the American Institute of Family Law Attorneys in both 2014 and 2015. His hard work and attention to detail have made him an invaluable mentor, guide, and member of the Marshall & Taylor PLLC team. Attorney Jeffrey E. Marshall is a North Carolina board-certified Family Law Specialist and a certified Family Financial Mediator. Mr. Marshall is one of only 204 attorneys throughout North Carolina to have these dual credentials. He is dedicated to protecting the rights of all his clients and the families of the Raleigh area. Jeff is a North Carolina Board Certified Specialist in Family Law. His law practice is focused entirely on Family Law and Divorce matters. He has been a Board Certified Specialist in Family Law since 2009 and at the time of his certification, he was one of only 204 lawyers state-wide to achieve this distinction. The North Carolina State Bar certifies lawyers as specialists in designated practice areas as a service to the public to identify lawyers who have demonstrated special knowledge, skill and proficiency in certain areas of law. To be certified as a specialist in a practice area, a lawyer must have extensive experience in their area of practice, be favorably evaluated by other lawyers and judges, and pass a written examination in the specialty practice area. Jeff is also certified by the North Carolina Dispute Resolution Committee as a Family Financial Mediator and has successfully resolved many family law cases for attorneys and their clients who are going through the difficult process of separation and divorce. Additionally, Jeff is often chosen by his peers as an arbitrator to make legally binding decisions in highly contested family law matters. He is humbled by the number of colleagues who contact him for advice and representation in their own family law cases. Jeff is a member of the North Carolina Bar Association, the Tenth Judicial District Bar and the Wake County Bar Association. He is a member of the Family Law Section of the North Carolina Bar Association, and a member of the Continuing Legal Education Committee. He has both spoken and planned Continuing Legal Education Courses. Jeff currently serves on the Advisory Board and is the past President on the Board of Directors for The Child's Advocate, a once local, non-profit organization and now a part of Legal Aid. This program is designed to ensure that courts hear and understand a minor child's opinions in highly contested custody cases. Jeff was born and raised in Rochester, New York. After graduating from Fairport High School, Jeff attended SUNY Buffalo, where he was recruited to play football by former Buffalo Bills great and former NFL coach, Jim Haslett. At SUNY Buffalo Jeff received his BS in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance. He then attended Capital University Law School in Columbus, Ohio where he graduated with Order of the Curia honors. Immediately following graduation, Jeff moved to North Carolina where he has practiced law ever since. When he is not at work, Jeff enjoys spending time with his wife Becky and their two daughters, Harper and Josephine.

Lillie Ashworth

Originally from Charlotte, North Carolina, Lillie attended Myers Park High School and graduated with honors in 2009. A dedicated student and athlete, Lillie accepted a Division I swimming scholarship to Davidson College where she studied English literature. Lillie graduated from Davidson in 2013 and began her legal studies at Campbell Law School in Raleigh, North Carolina. While at Campbell, Lillie discovered her passion for family law. She interned in both the District and Supreme Courts as well as in private practice with family law firms. In addition to her internships, Lillie served on the student government committee and won the "Best Comment" paper to be selected to the Campbell Law Review. She was appointed Symposium editor her third year. Lillie began working for Marshall & Taylor as an intern in 2015. After graduating from Campbell Law and passing the North Carolina bar exam in 2016, Lillie became a full-time attorney with our firm. Lillie is a member of the North Carolina State Bar, the North Carolina Bar Association, and the 10th Judicial District Bar as well as the Young Lawyers Division. Lillie has won several awards in her tenure as an attorney including being selected to the North Carolina Superlawyers "Rising Stars" list for 2020, 2021, 2022, and 2023 and being named a "Young Gun" for the Business North Carolina 2023 Legal Elite. Lillie concentrates her family law practice on child custody, child support, spousal support, property division, separation agreements, and divorce litigation. Lillie additionally handles adoption cases and civil domestic violence. In her free time, Lillie enjoys traveling, working out, and spending time with her spouse and young daughter in Raleigh, North Carolina.

Sarah Privette

Sarah was born and raised outside Toronto, Ontario before moving south to Minnesota with her family in 1995. After graduating high school, Sarah attended the University of Minnesota where she focused on psychology and the intersection of mental health, psychology, and the legal system. While in college, Sarah managed intake calls for a domestic violence hotline, pointing victims to resources and working closely with law enforcement officers, interning with the Minneapolis Police Department in the Family Crimes Division and volunteering at a walk-in mental health clinic. Sarah attended law school at Mitchell Hamline Law School in St. Paul, Minnesota. In her final year of law school, Sarah moved to the United Kingdom with her husband where she completed law school in London, earning both her American Juris Doctorate and her English Certificate in Law. After finishing law school, Sarah worked full-time for a family law firm in the United Kingdom and traveled as much as possible. Upon returning to the U.S., Sarah was admitted to the bar in North Carolina where she has practiced since 2010. Sarah began her legal career at Legal Aid focusing on domestic violence and family law and as an advocate for the Battered Immigrant Project. There, she honed her family law knowledge before moving into private practice. Prior to joining Marshall & Taylor, PLLC, Sarah worked in a boutique family law firm focusing on complex child custody cases. She has handled numerous multi-day trials, and has litigation experience in both district and superior court on all family based issues including domestic violence, alienation of affection, equitable distribution, post separation support, child support, alimony, and complex custody cases. Sarah is an active member of the Wake County Bar Association currently serving on both the Bar Awards committee and the professionalism committee. Sarah also volunteers her time as a mentor in the joint WCBA/Campbell Law School Mentorship program working with current law school students as they prepare to move into professional practice. For all of her hard work Sarah was voted by her peers to be named as a Super Lawyers "Rising Star," a distinction held by few lawyers in North Carolina. Sarah lives in Raleigh, North Carolina with her husband and three boys. Having played hockey in college, she enjoys getting outside and being active with her sons, especially going on long runs, and enjoys getting in as much travel as possible whether domestically or internationally.
