MOUNT DUNEED PROGRESS ASSOCIATION

The Mount Duneed Progress Association is a group of residents from Mount Duneed and district who meet to monitor local issues. The meetings are held at 7:30pm on the first Thursday of the months of February, May, July, September and November, at the Mount Duneed Hall, 40 Mount Duneed Road. These meetings provide residents with the opportunity for social interaction and to voice concerns on local developments, roads, safety and use of the land. Past issues include the impact of the Geelong Ring Road on Mount Duneed roads, safety at local road intersections and speed limits, the Armstrong Creek Urban Growth Area development, Mount Duneed history and fracking. Past guest speakers have included City of Greater Geelong and Surf Coast Shire mayors and councillors, federal and state politicians and VicRoads representatives.
