Soils for Life is an independent, not-for-profit organisation that works across Australia to support Australian farmers in regenerating soils and landscapes, to build natural and social capital, and transform food and fibre systems... Soil is one of the earth's most important natural resources and is essential for healthy plant growth, food production and ecosystem services such as clean, plentiful water and air... We believe that providing farmers with the knowledge, skills and supporting social infrastructure they need to lead a national effort to rebuild and restore soils will strengthen Australia's response to climate change while enabling the production of healthy, plentiful food and fibre in ways that are good for farmers, communities and the planet.
