THE DONATION GARDEN

In the spring of 2011, community members and the cities of Orono and Long Lake collaborated on what is now known as The Donation Garden. Once a vacant parcel of land, the garden is home to a 10,000 square foot vegetable garden. The Donation Garden is committed to serving the community by donating all the produce grown to those in need... Since 2011, The Donation Garden located in Orono, MN has planted, harvested and delivered fresh, healthy produce to local food shelves. 100% of the produce grown is donated to those in need... With your generous support, we are able to support WeCAN, Interfaith Outreach, Westonka Food Shelf, Gillespie Senior Center and the Monthly Community Church Meals. Their mission is the same as ours...creating community and providing healthy, fresh produce.
