EPSCOR

The Established Program to Stimulate Competitive Research (EPSCoR) is a federally-funded program to promote the development of science and technology capacity in the United States. Utah EPSCoR funding is utilized to build science and engineering in higher education and a technology-based economy for the future... EPSCoR was established by National Science Board resolution in 1978, targeting states receiving lesser amounts of NSF funding to build sustainable capacity of educational institutions in those states to compete more successfully. This program requires broad participation and collaborations.
