Andrew Parsons

Andrew Parsons is Chief Administrative Officer for Emergent Technology. In his role he has broad responsibility for the company's administrative functions, including accounting, treasury, human resources, legal, stakeholder relations, corporate governance, regulatory and other matters. Andrew has more than 25 years of experience working in a variety of international and domestic corporate leadership and advisory roles. He has extensive expertise in business process management and design, corporate governance, internal controls, human resources and compensation, information systems, and special projects execution. Previously, Andrew was the Chief Administrative Officer of HudsonField, an energy finance, marketing, and transportation company. Prior to that, he was Zaff Capital's Managing Director, Administration and Portfolio Operations, and AEI's Executive Vice President and Chief Administrative Officer. Andrew also served in advisory, systems, and assurance roles at Enron Corp. and Arthur Andersen LLP. Andrew earned a Master of Business Administration from the University of Houston and a Bachelor of Arts with Honors in Political Science and Law from Carleton University.

Brent de Jong has more than 20 years of investment experience, having worked on over 250 investments across 50 countries. Over the course of his career, Brent has developed a broad range of expertise in emerging markets in a variety of sectors, including energy, telecom, financial, natural resources, real estate, and transportation. He has built or helped manage multiple regulated businesses and has held various board roles in the investment, mining and non-profit sectors. In his capacity as Director of Emergent Technology, he represents De Jong Capital's investment interest in Emergent Technology.

Daniel Goldstein

Daniel is Senior Vice President of Engineering for Emergent Technology and is leading development of the company's Responsible Gold supply chain solution, payment platforms and G-Coin digital token. He's a technology leader with exceptional leadership and hand-on experience specializing in payment processing and fraud detection systems. He was an early adopter of emerging technology such as big data, rule based declarative programming and blockchain technology. Prior to joining Emergent in 2017, Daniel spent five years at Western Union where most recently he was vice president of digital engineering. While at Western Union, he designed and delivered the next generation fraud prevention platform for the company. He also designed and delivered the Western Union payments gateway, a world class digital payment processing and normalization platform designed to simplify the integration of multiple payment types across the globe while maintaining a single integration point in the organization. Daniel joined Symantec in 2004 and during his tenure provided the architectural design of the consumer eCommerce cloud and payment processing system - SymPay. His early career was spent in Israel working for Precise software solutions as the Siebel lead developer and as a development engineer at Pelephone Telecommunications. Currently, Daniel has two patents pending in the United States, one for "payment gateway for generic processing in ecommerce" and the second for "fraud detection using clusters on graph DB." He graduated from the SELA Institute , Ramat-Gan, Israel with a degree in software development and he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Marine Archaeology from Haifa University in Israel. Daniel is multi-lingual and fluent in English, Spanish and Hebrew.

Jason Leblanc

Jason Leblanc is the Senior Vice President, Finance and Chief Financial Officer of Yamana Gold. In his capacity as Director of Emergent Technology he represents Yamana's investment interest in Emergent Technology. Mr Leblanc joined Yamana in January 2006. He has almost 20 years of experience in the mining industry with a background in corporate finance and capital markets, mergers and acquisitions, financial reporting and sell side research. During his time at Yamana, Mr Leblanc has held increasingly senior positions including most recently the position of Vice President, Finance and Treasurer since 2009. Mr Leblanc has a Master of Finance from the University of Toronto, a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Windsor and holds a Chartered Financial Analyst designation.

Matthew Keen

Matthew Keen leads Responsible Gold Trading DMCC in Dubai, bringing more than 30-years of precious metals experience to the team. In 2014, he established Evidens, a precious metal specific consultancy in 2014 and, in that capacity, he currently serves on the advisory board for the World Gold Council (WGC), as well as the Independent Governance Committee for the Dubai Multi Commodity Centre (DMCC) and is a member of the Dubai Gold Advisory Group. Matthew started his career at Johnson Matthey Bankers in 1982, in the aftermath of gold's record breaking run up to $850 spurred by the infamous Bunker Hunt episode. In 1987 he moved to Engelhard (now BASF) where he started his specialization in platinum group metals (PGMS). In 1991, Matthew left Engelhard to build a PGM business for JPMorgan where he remained for 10 years, including a period in Singapore where his specialization broadened to official sector coverage. In 2005, he joined Deutsche Bank to rebuild their official sector business in precious metals before moving on to establishing them in PGMs, pioneering a new approach for metal financing. Whilst at Deutsche Bank he held the following Directorships: London Precious Metal Clearing Ltd., The London Gold Fixing Company Ltd., The London Silver Fixing Company Ltd. as well as being a member of Management Committee for the London Platinum & Palladium Market. A respected veteran in the gold and commodity segments, he is a regular speaker at industry events such as those held by WGC, LBMA, LPPM, IPMI and DPMC events.

Nirali Shah

Nirali joins Emergent Technology as VP of Sustainability and Responsible Sourcing from mid-February. As part of her role, she will lead the design and implementation of the Responsible Gold standards and control framework, managing and developing the environmental, social, and governance aspects of the Responsible Gold ecosystem. Prior to joining the company Nirali was a Director at Deloitte, leading the UK's Energy and Resources Sustainability Services practice. Over the past two years, Nirali worked with Emergent Technology developing the Responsible Gold standards, a set of critical risks and associated controls for the responsible sourcing of gold. Nirali has over 18 years' experience in advising global businesses on environmental, health and safety, social and labour impacts in their direct operations and supply chains. She has specialised in the extractives sector and has worked with many of the world's largest miners, oil & gas companies and power utilities, gaining global, on-site, operational experience. Leading Deloitte's conflict minerals and responsible sourcing services Nirali has worked with number of gold, silver and platinum refineries in Africa, China, the CIS, Europe and North America to help implement or provide independent compliance audits for the London Bullion Market Association's responsible sourcing guidance. She also has practical experience of the Responsible Jewellery Council's Code of Practice through her work with high-end jewellery retailers as well as the World Gold council's conflict-free standard, having developed the related assurance standard during her time with KPMG in South Africa. Nirali is a qualified ACA and a member of The Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales. She has a First-class honours degree in Economics and Accounting from the University of Bristol, UK.

Tony Moreau currently leads Innovation at IAMGOLD Corporation. In this role, Mr Moreau provides full support in forecasting, financial planning and assessment of future projects while leading innovation strategy and execution. Over his career, Mr Moreau has spearheaded a number of significant industry initiatives, including the YMP Scholarship Fund, IAMGOLD's partnership with Right to Play and the company's entry into the blockchain space. He also manages an innovative international co-op benchmarking program owned and operated by a network of mining companies. Mr Moreau continues to evaluate opportunities in innovation and business that will help move IAMGOLD forward and best enable miners to meet the demands of the future. Mr Moreau is a Chartered Financial Analyst and graduate of the Queen's School of Business in Ontario, Canada. Mr Moreau currently serves on the Board at PowerOre.
