Founded in 2017, Agapao's mission is to help people find and meet the needs in the hearts and lives of their local refugee neighbors. We long to see refugee communities where God's love is poured out, needs are met, and His name is glorified... Before a refugee arrives in a new country, they may have spent years or even decades living in a refugee camp. Learning to navigate the language, culture, and daily life of a new country can be a daunting transition. Agapao aims to offer a warm welcome to these new residents and neighbors... We believe that it is our responsibility to welcome, advocate for, support, and empower refugees and displaced peoples.
