The Angela Goodall Dance Academy (AGDA) was founded by Angela Goodall in 2001 under the guidance and mentorship of her teacher Cathrine Aslin MNZM. A well known member of the New Zealand dance community Cathrine Aslin ran her own school in Newlands until her retirement in 2000. Angela started her own school to continue providing quality dance classes to the Newlands and surrounding suburbs community. Cathrine Aslin was an avid supporter of the studio and dance community until her passing in 2008... The AGDA places emphasis on the enjoyment of dance and encourages students to strive for excellence in their class, exam and performance work.
