In 2012, Jess and Terrea began harvesting oysters as a harvester in Beaufort, S.C., and in 2017 started Braden Oyster Farm. Their goal has always been to provide a fresh, high quality, local seafood product. Braden Oyster Farm ensures quality oysters at reasonable prices... In recent decades many states along the East Coast have wiped out their oyster beds, resulting in erosion, declines in water quality and a loss of wildlife habitat. Our farming practices help restore oyster reefs which rejuvenate fish, crustacean and mollusk populations, and keep our environment healthy.
