CEC is a non-sectarian and apolitical organization. We offer a platform for the exchange of ideas and do not endorse the views of those who speak in our classes... The Continuing Education Center at Rancho Bernardo is a 501(c)(3) organization established in 1978. For our first 25 years we were part of San Diego State University's Extended Studies Department. In 2003, we became a free-standing, non-profit organization offering 100 classes a year for personal enrichment... We offer 100 classes each year ranging from history and music to art and science. Our classes are for personal enrichment and are about 1-1/2 hours long.
