Mary has over twenty-five years' experience as a legal assistant/paralegal at a Los Angeles law firm. Her position capitalizes on her strong research, writing, and critical analysis skills for a variety of legal documentation, such as leases, depositions, and corporate resolutions. In her free time, she has developed a distinct social media presence via her semi-competitive running which has provided her the opportunity to serve as a brand ambassador for two sports companies. Her passion, however, is in her advocacy work, and Mary has served as a volunteer for several nonprofits, including as a community ambassador and glean team leader for Food Forward, a food recovery organization, as well as a legal workshop volunteer at A New Way of Life, which assists formerly incarcerated clients with re-entry. Her goal is to obtain funding for organizations looking to provide solutions and make an impact in the lives of individuals and communities as a whole.
