Abbey Glass

Abbey is a registered social worker providing adult, child and family support. She has over 7 years' experience in this area, working in both the not-for-profit and education sectors. Abbey uses a therapeutic approach and is particularly influenced by Narrative Therapy, using this as a base to support individuals to navigate challenges in their lives, to experience improved overall wellbeing. Abbey particularly enjoys working with adults and children/tamariki who are experiencing feelings of worry or anxiety and other unsettling emotions. Abbey is passionate about assisting people to improve their relationships with others. Within families/whānau, Abbey uses her knowledge of parenting strategies to allow parents to experience more positive relationships with their children. Abbey also works in the area of ACC sensitive claims and enjoys supporting people to achieve improved over-all wellbeing, a strong sense of self-worth and healing from difficult past experiences. Outside of work, Abbey enjoys adventures with her young whānau and finding the time to become lost in a good book.

Chloe Kinajil

Chloe is a counsellor with experience working with young people and their whānau in both school and community-based services in Christchurch and North Canterbury. She supports individuals from all walks of life who experience a range of difficulties. Chloe is also registered as an ACC sensitive claims provider and offers a supportive and client led approach to those walking this journey. She has a particular interest in working with individuals recovering from trauma, drawing from a strengths-based, integrated approach to counselling, including Solution-Focused, ACT & Somatic Experiencing. Chloe is of mixed Asian descent (Kadazan/Lao) and has lived in New Zealand since 1990. She enjoys spending time with her family, travelling, and experiencing different cultures through food.

Kirsten Lloyd-Scott

Kirsten has been working in various Presbyterian Support roles as a Family Support worker for nine years. This has included working alongside new parents, tamariki and whānau who have needed extra wellbeing support, and more recently, providing one-on-one advice and guidance to parents. She has been trained in delivering Triple P, Tuning Into Kids™ and Tuning Into Teens™ parenting programs, and has facilitated a number of other wellbeing related group interventions. Kirsten is passionate about helping families strengthen their connection and communication with each other in the different seasons of life they face. Kirsten works in a strengths-based way and is always interested in empowering parents to realise their influence and significance in the lives of their tamariki. In her spare time, Kirsten loves outdoor adventures with her three teenage children.

Matt Rainey

Matt is an experienced counsellor working from a strength based integrated counselling mode and is committed to helping people achieve their goals in working towards a better quality of life. Alongside being a Victim Support approved Counsellor, and holding a full membership to the New Zealand Association of Counsellors, Matt also has Diploma's in Psychology and Environmental Management and Certificates in Social Work and Adult Teaching. Matt brings an eclectic range of skills, knowledge, and 30 years' experience, to his practice having worked in private and NGO counselling practice, tertiary education, statutory social work, trauma counselling, Ministry of Justice non-violence programmes, mentoring programme coordination, Ministry of Social Development youth support assessment, behavioural health consultancy, Police - firearms licencing, and Quality Management. Away from work, Matt is a keen hunter, enjoys fishing, hiking, kayaking, gardening and pretty much anything in our beautiful outdoors.

Nadia Dick

Nadia is passionate about presenting relevant and practical communication and wellbeing information in workplaces and offering parenting strategies in schools and community settings. As well as being a qualified mediator, Nadia is a supervisor and integrated counsellor who applies several modalities to her work with a particular orientation towards Solution Focused-Brief Therapy. This is a present-future approach which looks at where you are now, what you might like to be different and a way to get there. This is the lens she brings to her work with both corporates, supervisees and individuals. Nadia and her family now live in Ōtautahi but have previously resided in a number of places around the world including Kampala, Cairns and the highlands of Papua New Guinea. Nadia loves cooking, travelling and coffee catch ups with friends.
