eye music's activities include curating and organizing media screenings internationally as well as *fiscally sponsoring time-based media projects. eye music was one of the earliest micro-cinemas organizing screenings in the mid-1970s and 1980s at 80 Langton Street, the California Gallery, and the Exploratorium in San Francisco. The organization's name was derived from Marie Menken's remarkable film, "Eye Music in Red Major" in whose memory our mission was established.
