It all began on Labor Day weekend 2013 when I came home from Columbus to care for my Aunt Juanita in her home, on Middlecreek Rd. in Belleview bottoms. She was suffering from complications of Breast Cancer chemotherapy. She required around the clock home intensive care to include medication management, frequent trips to the lab, the Oncologist's office, weekly blood transfusions, occasional IV fluids, a couple of oral surgeries, and even, in the last four months of her life, we got her rested up enough to attend a social function or two. Thanksgiving was always her favorite holiday..
